You have to use that particular mobile for hotspot while using the camera, You can connect or disconnect according to your need, camera automatically connected to that particular hotspot, BUT, if you want to change mobile hotspot or different wifi for camera, then you need to setup camera again, each time when you change the wifi or hotspot source.

That same wifi thing only apply on setup, after that you can change your mobile's wifi or data Whatever you want, but camera needs to be on that same wifi.

@@TechGadgets1122 Thanks for quick reply sir. I got it. But my requirement is actually latter one where I wanted some camera where it can record once power goes off and WiFI is not there. Usually I turnoff broadband in the night and turn on in the morning and during this time if power goes off, looks like camera stops recording till I turn on broadband. So I wanted to know if there are any other camera which can record even if power goes off when wifi is not there and when power restores, it starts recording again.

Haan ji ab ye camera Setup hone ke baad bina wifi ke record karta rehta hai,. Lekin agar light gai to ise dobarah wifi se connect karna padega recording start karane ke liye, Uske baad wifi band kar sakte hain, Maine is process ki ek video bhi banai hui hai,. Aap wo video bhi dekh sakte hain.

This mi camera is a shit. I was fooled. If this cam has no internet, this won’t even record to the memory card. It doesn’t make sense to me at all. This is a limitation in this mi brand. Whereas if u buy other camera brand, the description itself clearly says that their brand records offline. Mi makes Indians fool by dumping crappy shit on us.
