I have two of these because of a gnat problem. I think it's helped quite a bit.

You actually can turn the the light by hold the 2 metal prongs on the back and rotating it left so that it’s up right

I can definitely attest that does indeed works for gnats. Thats the only reason i got is for them. Im not sure if it works for anything else. But soon as i pkugged it in those gnats was on it like 20 within 5 minutes an continue to collect. Well worth it.

These are awesome! The one I have though will blink when replacing the trap then it'll stop after a while. Does anyone know why it blinks?

To my amazement version 1 of this product has caught a few mosquitos. The led light is really week though for version 1. I've Safer Brand plugin insect trap and it also caught mosquitos. Both trapped mosquitoes without octenol attractant.

I have a fruit fly problem and gnats from my plants so I got this today. For my garage problem I suggest a mosquito net that has magnetic closure. Flies this year are crazy!!!!

I love mine but when I plug into the outlet, blue light does not come on. Hadn't used it in a couple of months

This thing works pretty good the only downside its expensive asf and so are the replacements sticky sheets i was trying to think of some way of using clear tape instead but idk lmao cuase 8 dollars for 2 sheet with a big of gnat problem my has they go by quick

We have drain flies. My filter was nearly filled in less than a week.

I haven't, I didn't know there was one. I'll have to take a look the next time I'm at Costco and see if they have one.

Mine worked the first time. But now the Flys aren't being trapped anymore. Not sure why

No fruit flies. I actually got little fruit fly traps that you put vinegar into. They seem to be attracted to bright colors and smells.

I just bought one of those at Kroger and it didn't produce any blue light.

I bought 4 of these. 3 didnt even light up and the 4th ran 3 days next to the swarm and didnt catch any fruit flys.

Nice, but you can do the exact same thing with a fly strip in a lighted window. I'd buy this though and give it a try.

Nope a fly strip will not work catching little gnats and fruit flies and stuff in your kitchen I've tried them out in my garage where I have lots of little fly gnats and I'll catch a fly occasionally but very seldom do I catch gnats these catch a lot of gnats especially if you plug them into a receptacle over your kitchen counter.

@@curte7739 No. You're doing something wrong! The only reason I bought the fly strips was to catch gnats and fruit flies. I was infested with them by my sink. I had hundreds of them on the strip! How could they not? The gnats don't know any better. They fly right onto the fly strips. Just make sure you put the strips by your sink next time!

Mosquitoes are definitely attracted to light. Anyone who has gone camping or had a picnic in a lighted picnic area would def know you see them swarming around any flashlights, streetlights, lanterns, etc.

i just bought this and put it in my kitchen where all the flies are. Its been on for 24hrs and i have only caught 1 fly. I am getting annoyed its not working so well cuz it was 20.00.

As far as I can tell, it can capture fruit flies, but the fruit flies aren't attracted to the light like other bugs, so it only catches them by luck. The fruit flies seem to be attracted to smell, so I'm tempted to try some of those oil traps too.

Do a follow up with what you catch. I've seen reviews which state they did catch mosquitoes, which is what I'm primarily interested in catching.

So far, I've never caught a mosquito. I have now caught spiders, mostly flies, moths and yellow jackets, but not a single mosquito.

GOOD? THERRRE GREAT!! I HAVE THEM on every floor. My kids however are making me Crazy.... they keep telling me it's giving them a headache. Apparently it makes noise... I don't hear it... but @ least 4 of them do. It's weird. Any1 else have this problem? (I asked them would u rather have these flies? )

The one in the house didn't catch anything for a few days. Luckily, I don't let many get in, but it's nice to have this snag them when they do!

How can you sleep with those flying around your face but you worried about a small light

Zero work for me. At first I want kills fly in my house.but at end it also kill small moth.I was really please with this product.

It's inhumane.

@@bruhcsp What's common sense is understanding that it works by attracting flies to a blue light and in a house filled with white light, unlike a garage with no lights on, a tiny blue light could be ineffective.
