    The experience of a Kundalini rising, *that awareness is ego too!* What many seem to misunderstand is that according to Bhagavan, we are already atma-swarupa, that means that any seeming techniques like japa, pranayama, and all other yogas are duality, they assume a path from ego to self/atma-swarupa. *There is none!* Why? Because ego does not really exist, it only seems to exist. That what does not exist can never attain reality and that's why dualistic practices like yoga cannot work. They can only prepare mind/ego to be strong enough to practice atma-vichara. Only proper atma-vichara or self-attention, (which is, *if properly done* , a non-dual practice) will lead to self-realization. The phantom ego can only be annihilated by attending to "I am", mind turned outwards is ego, mind turned within is self.

    So what you are saying, is the dream/dreamer is ego (easing out God). All there is, is God. Thank You Michael James!

    All there is, is *not* God. Ego is not God and that means that "all there is" like phenomena or this world is not God too, it is a temporary seeming appearance in God or self/atma-swarupa.

    By the way, Wayne Dyer who came up with the phrase "easing/edging out God" is an unrefined teacher and does not even come close to the level of Bhagavan. Most teachers like Dyer do not grasp what Bhagavan meant with "ego". They have no clue that there is only One ego and that ego projects/creates this unreal world we see with its people who are all unreal too.

    @@bernhard1071 I heard Ego..easing out god from a drunk in a AA meeting reading The Big Book of Alcoholics Annyomous. It is in Chapter 3.. discussing deflating the ego. That was over 50 years ago, maybe that is where Wayne Dyer heard it. In AA there are no levels. The newcomer has it all because they remind everyone why they are there. Thank You!

    Bhagavan taught that there is no ego and if we look for it, it can't be found. Alas there are many who misunderstand that and, due to some subtle imagination of mind, believe to be without ego. That is quite amusing since Bhagavan taught that *ALL* objects and phenomena ARE ego. When we see a chair, *that awareness is ego!* When we see another person or body, *that awareness is ego!* When we feel pain, *that awareness is ego!* When we eat and taste food, *that awareness is ego!* When we type on a keyboard and feel the keys, *that awareness is ego!* When we see the sun and feel the warmth of it, *that awareness is ego!* When we think, "I am not ego", *that awareness is ego!* When we experience peace, *that awareness is ego!* When we experience happiness, *that awareness is ego!* When we experience emptiness, *that awareness is ego!* When we experience the oneness of universe, *that awareness is ego!* When we experience anything, *that awareness is ego!* And so on ................ *Everything* we perceive or see or feel or think about is ego!

    Hey John! ✨👋🥴✨ You are 100%. The error is the misunderstanding that Awareness and perception are the same thing; they are not. Perception (which includes intellect and conditioning) is an ongoing function of the mind-body organism; perception exists only so long as the mind-body organism exists. Awareness/Cognizance is "what" is observing the functions of perception...and, that Awareness/Cognizance is Universal - One Life living through and AS all that is [individually, collectively and Universally]. There is nothing that is not That and there is nowhere That is not. Awareness is not within the individual mind-body organism. The individual mind-body organism is within Awareness. As such, Existence existing is not "out there". All is within Awareness (i.e., "in here"). Existence existing exists within Awareness/Cognizance - exactly the same as any other dream exists within Awareness/Cognizance. Without Awareness/Cognizance, Existence would not/could not exist and there would be even less than nothing whatsoever. Even this information is not enough. The real and sincere "effort" is assimilating it to the point of personally living what that information indicates, is "pointing" to- ABSOLUTE BEING. You have excellent insight! And, thank you for your ✨ excellent ✨ videos, Michael...!!! ✨🌈❤🥴✨

    @@Da_Xman Thank you my friend. What I have said is of course nothing new, it is something Michael has mentioned before and I just went into more detail since for some the term "phenomena is not real" is still not fully understood and when there is an experience, let's say a profound mystical one, then this might be confused as self, however even *that awareness is ego!* 🙂 If one really properly practices atma-vichara then that will become clear and that is all what is needed.

    @@johnmcdonald260 So very well stated, John. The BIG problem is in the interpretations of word definitions and, in the course of Consciousness and Awareness, there are actually no words that suffice, being confused many times with definitions of words that define only temporal existence. And, as always, Michael James should be acknowledged for his constantly ✨wonderful✨ channel! ✨🌈❤️🥴👍✨

    The onest answer is nobody knows...from my experience the awareness always will dream even when it seen clearly thare no real ego entity

    What you call "my experience" is the awareness of ego which is different to pure awareness or atma-swarupa. That what dreams is always ego and it is ego which creates/projects this world and all phenomena. Who sees that there is clearly no real ego entity? There is no "seer" but ego! How can ego see clearly that it is not real? That is impossible! That what we believe currently to be and ALL that we perceive or aware of (as phenomena) is *NOT* real, it is an elaborate illusion. It is hard for most to accept that self-realization means the annihilation of this world and all of its people. That is ego pooping in its pants since it gets scared of this outcome since it instinctively knows that that means its own demise. That what is scared is *always* ego.

    @@fur1na__1 Sorry, but that is BS but you are, of course, free to believe that. There is no logical error since the truth is beyond mind and can never be comprehended by mind but to follow the pointers of sages like Bhagavan and actually, through proper practice. And yes, even Bhagavan and Buddha, their bodies are a dream, they never existed but as an imagination/projection of mind as everything else we, as ego, "see". It needs a certain maturity to grasp that and everybody will discover that eventually on their own accord. 🙏

    So what is real. Self. So is deep sleep the yltimate

  • @bernhard1071

    @bernhard1071

    2 ай бұрын

    From the viewpoint of the ego, deep sleep seems to be the ultimate. However the term "deep sleep" describes a seeming state of ego which has a total of three: The "waking state", the "dream state" and finally the "deep sleep" state where ego (temporarily) subsides. All three states are not real since they only exist in relation to ego. What really exists is only atma-swarupa which is sometimes also called turiya. Is there a connection between ego and atma-swarupa? No, since they are mutually exclusive. Atma-swarupa is only a reality when ego has gone completely and that is accomplished with the practice of atma-vichara or self-attention.
