A viewer of my short clip recommending the Temu 128GB MicroSD card asked whether I had tested the card for an "overwriting" issue. Apparently, some budget MicroSD cards are somehow hacked to appear to have a larger size storage capacity than they actually do. The cards mount and report the larger card size, but once the end-user tries to copy data that exceeds the true storage capacity, the cards loop back to the star too the card and begin overwriting data.
The question posed to me is valid. This video sets out to perform a test of filling up the memory card to near 100% of its storage capacity to see if the dreaded overwrite problem occurs.
