I explored all of mount Agaat last night and Yigas kept appearing lol, they must think Link is trying to escape Hyrule and they wont want him to get away! Bahaha

Since Sidon’s wife Yona is from a different Zora’s Domain, I do believe it is possible that there are other regions outside of Hyrule.

​@@Mety333 Termina is a _parallel_ world like Lorule and the Sea of the Ocean King so it's impossible for Link to go there on foot. Holodrum and Labrynna from the Oracle games do exist in the same universe as Hyrule so they're the best candidate for a new land to visit.

Spoiler warning: Genuinely might be possible because of Kogha’s rocket escape during his final boss fight. If they ever make a DLC he’ll probably be in the sky, but it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that the next Zelda game is outside of Hyrule, because they’ve done games like that before.

It's a huge shame they didnt play with the idea of outside regions more in this game. Sure Sidons wife mentioned it but then they had this HUGE missed opportunity to make the pirates from the Lurien village quest line be not only from another region, but also be their own characters. Given how much of a build up this quest had, I was so excited to see these so called pirates and their personalities like the ones from Wind Waker only to be immediately disappointed that it was just a bunch of copy paste Bokoblins wearing pirate hats.

Yessss I thought PIRATES HOW CRAZY!! it was like a bait and switch. Fighting on the pirate ships was still cool. But at LEAST they could have given us hylian pirates LEADING bokoblins in battle.

for those wondering: this was left in because it's technically within the map boundary where it's possible for collision to exist. outside that bound the ground stops being solid. same thing in the last game with this location.

If I remember correctly the Dev's planned for Mount Agaat to be accessible but for some reason they didn't implement it into the game. I hope they fix that part of the map in a TOTK DLC.

Honestly, I desperately hope it’s a possibility. I flew up as high as I could in Hyrule to get pictures of just how much is unexplored, and it’s incredibly vast. There’s a beach if you keep going through Geredo, a penesula going away from Akaala, and I thought I saw a huge lake somewhere northwest of Tabatha. Then again, render distance may have loaded/unloaded stuff and gave the illusion of a lake, but still, I want it to happen. Also, we could finally explore the chasm that goes around western and northern Hyrule!

For people who aren't really aware of Zelda world history, yes there are other kingdoms besides Hyrule. Like Labrynna and Holodrum (WHICH ARE NOT PARALEL UNIVERSES AND I WILL NOT BE CONVINCED OTHERWISE). There's also the world from Zelda II on the nes, which even has different continents. Hyrule being only like 20% of the world in Zelda II Also ive seen a lot of people point out that Yona is from another zoras domain, and the only other non-paralel-universe zoras domain (that we know of) is located in Labrynna so she could be from there

Yup, most games we only explore "Lesser Hyrule". There's a bigger world that we only ever see in Zelda 2, I think

Because of Yona's existence in the game we legit might get DLC that expands the map of TOTK base game and be able to explore a whole new land outside of the Hyrule boarders. Hopefully Mount Agaat will be unlocked, more story about the Blupees and the Satoru.

Technically the outside boarders of Hyrule is still sort of Hyrule, they just probably haven't discovered it yet. For all we know their could be other regional variants of every sentient species that are currently living in Hyrule but look very different and have different names from what we know.

If you fly up to the world height (or higher as some people have done) you can actually see the entire continent Hyrule is on. Or, more of a large island rather than a continent. It's interesting to see it does in fact end once you go far enough out, even though you can never get there

While players are not meant to make it to such a height through normal means during gameplay it's possible that Nintendo might have designed this Hyrule based on the Hyrule from Four Swords Adventures which also lies on an island surrounded by sea. Hopefully a DLC/sequel will explore the surroundings beyond the borders of the kingdom to reveal what lies there.

@@javiervasquez625 I hope so too. You can actually see it in game though without glitching out of bounds. I was trying to reach the ancient Hyrule script above Lookout Landing which is at 3000 altitude, and it's actually visible from there.

I've always wanted to travel along the chain of peaks near the island labyrinth. The invisible wall taunts me.

I remember seeing some 'fallen sky ruins' in the outside area to the south of death mountain . Only in a few spots though.

Wow Mety made it to the FORBIDDEN LANDS! That's crazy there is solid land there, and even birds, Yiga, Keese, and Stal monsters! I hope this gets expanded on in the future. I originally thought Zelda and Link were going to float away with Hyrule Castle to NORTHERN HYRULE from Zelda 2 haha.

Now that I think about it, the idea of a location outside of Hyrule is so alien to me, especially considering the games rarely ever take place in a location other than Hyrule. We never even see other Kingdoms. I mean, we went to other lands for the Oracle games, but we've never seen other kings, queens, or even castles. For all we know, they were also a part of Hyrule's domain...The only real exception I can think of is in Triforce Heroes, of all things... I think it may be past time we saw more of the world that Hyrule inhabits, ngl.

lol birds and yiga clan members. They should make some immortal yiga clan boss just to keep mety from exploring outside of Hyrule, and then mety glitches past that too :D

So i have 2 uninformed theories about the Yiga spawning. If it was intentionial (which I doubt) they probably put that there when the player base somehow glitch there. If it was unintentional (far more likely) enemies still spawn even that far out but for whatever reason, Yiga is added to the spawn list.

The outside area of Hyrule is a future idea to add Lorule as a dlc. At least i believe Lorule is not part of Hyrule. It's been a while since i played the zelda game where you travel through Lorule.

I wouldn’t mind if they kept on making more games with the BOTW/TOTK engine and assets honestly as long as it’s not in the same Hyrule. Like imagine from now on for future Zelda games we stick to this iteration of Link traveling outside of Hyrule to different lands

Yeah, with hydro clipping you could do it in any version. Right below you is a death trigger by falling from the previous area where you fight the horde but going horizontally you can avoid it. If you keep going, however, you’ll get a message saying (if I remember correctly) “You cannot leave this area” and be teleported back

This always made me wish there was a open world zelda game but in Termina! ...i know it will never happen but hey! i can dream

In botw there also was solid ground outside hyrule And I think even ruined houses and trees and stuff Very basic though And other regions being hinted at, like yona being from another Kingdom and our blue bard bird whose name I totaly did not forget being possibly traveling in another land as well, maybe in some future game we will explore another region on that World map Or maybe even parts of it with dlc, but kinda unlikely I think tbh One of the future games has to be the start of this timeline though Like skyward sword was the first game, where it all started, from the previous timelines But botw and totk being on a new time line, and with the legendary ancient hero, I think a game with that hero as mc would be nice Even though I've heard that apparently that hero didn't really had a big adventure going on

I'd love to see a Zelda outside of Hyrule... Open more regions. Hyrule is actually pretty small. What is it compared to in scale? Like new Jersey size... Maybe a quarter of Oregon... Its best to look away from hyrule, so it wont try to load anything. Once you pass about 50-100 feet beyond the invisible wall according to the mini map coordinates you can let go and not risk it even more.
