Does the New Testament repeat the Sabbath commandment?

If the Sabbath commandment is not repeated in the New Testament, does that mean it is irrelevant for us as Christians living after Jesus?

”not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.“ ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My favorite verse is always changing but John 9:1-3 "As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who signed, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." NIV

I notice that he claims in other videos to have left the seventh day adventist church (I haven't watched the videos). Yet he is promoting the idea that we should keep the Sabbath and I also notice that he remains vegetarian (which the New Testament calls a weakness of faith). Seems to me that his teaching is still firmly planted in the SDA cult.

lol. I wonder how/why you have noticed I am remaining a vegetarian? 😂 Make sure to watch episode 11, as that deals with the 'weak in faith' concept in Romans, because this isn't what Paul was aiming at. I can also recommend watching my testimony video, maybe on double speed if you find it too long. Then you'll see why I went from anti-Sabbath, anti-SDA, etc, to returning to it anyway.

Regarding not taking the Lord's name in vain there's Matthew 5:33-37 and James 5:12 and there are countless NT verses about unwholesome talk and the power of words (e.g. James 3). Regarding the Sabbath, this is not something we're bound to as gentile believers (Acts 15), but may esteem one day above the rest or all equally according to personal conviction (Romans 14:5). The beautiful thing is that as Christians Christ has become our Sabbath because he is our rest (Hebrews 4). I'm not sure where the direction of this series is going but it does concern me that these passages were not taken into consideration at all in this video. Stating that a commandment has not been repeated at all in the New Testament fails to acknowledge obvious references to them.

Peace be with you Friend ❤️ Our God is Our Living or Spiritual Sabbath. But the 7th Day is our Physical Sabbath. A brief Summary of Romans 3: ‭‭Paul's message is that no one (Jew or Gentile) lives a perfect life, all are sinners, and no one will be justified or declared righteous simply by observing the law. Instead, under the new covenant, Christ died to pay the penalty for our sins, and those who put their faith and trust in Him will be declared righteous. So, in Conclusion: ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:31‬ ‭ASV‬‬ [31] Do we then make the law of none effect through faith? God forbid: nay, we establish the law. Through Faith 1ST, in Yeshua, his Sacrifice & Resurrection, we Establish the Law. Not because we will be Saved by it, but Because we are Already Saved ❤️

@@Daniel_Godismyjudge--Isah33.22 Hi friend, what Paul refers to in that passage is the moral law. We uphold the moral law. The Sabbath day was given to the Israelites and Gentiles are not subject to it as pointed out in Acts 15. Why? Because it has nothing to do with morality and everything to do with commemorating the day God rested from creation. Romans 14:5 says, "One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind." This is as direct a reference to the Sabbath as it gets in Romans. The Sabbath was meant to be a day of rest for the Israelites and for them to seek God. It's fine to personally have this practice but in reality we should be seeking God daily and seeking our rest in him. In fact, you'll never find any reference in Genesis that any of the men of God observed the Sabbath or were instructed to observe the Sabbath. Genesis 2:3 was context for the commandment given to the Israelites later on though

I'm sorry, Friend. However, followers of Christ do keep the Sabbath. Sabbath has Everything to do with Morality. God Established the Sabbath before the 1st Jew in Genesis 2:3. Acts 15 is speaking about Gentiles & Jews, how they should act towards one another. However, in other letters, we see how a Gentile in Christ should live after being Saved. That is, Under the Law of Christ. To love God & our Neighbour ❤️ The 10 Commandments are One way on how to Love God & our Neighbour

But I did addressed your points, Friend ❤️ You said the Sabbath has nothing to do with Morality, I said that The Sabbath is all about morality, that's what the 10 Commandments are. & The Gentiles are Not subjected to it, even tho God Established it before the 1st Jew. Romans 14 is Not about the Sabbath.
