A fun note, in the comics Batman revealed that Plastic Man was essentially a hard counter to the Martian Manhunter. MM goes crazy, and starts using his full capabilities as a near-total shaping shifter and galactic level telepathy. Turns out Plastic Man's brain isn't organic anymore, he's immune to telepathy, and Plastic Man's own shape shifting, basic invincibility, and unpredictable nature shut the MM right down.

@@jaye4157 Well, Plastic Man's "clothes" shapeshift alongside his body. One must wonder if his "clothes" are fused to his body, or just a part of his skin. In one episode, Plastic Man even complains that he still feels cold even when he forms winter clothes with his own body. Clayface also does this; shapeshifting to whoever he disguises into, complete with clothes.

can and had, his son also inherited his power,offspring, only his regeneration He is a little weaker (although he still has it) and Plastic Man is more creative, but in exchange, he can change his pigmentation without problems or limits thanks to the fact that he has even better control than his father, which also translates into being denser and a change even in its texture, you need at least batman level script power to identify it first time. he is in some ways a nerf but he does even better than his father for stealth. That is pretty crazy tbh. How Plastic man is basically stronger than he portrays himself to be that Batman can’t think of a contingency plan against him. Edit: I did search it up that there is actually a contingency plan against Elastic man and that was spraying him with liquid nitrogen, basically freezing him. Although, it’d be hard to get him in that position in the middle of a fight if he’s constantly shifting into different things. But in the end, it’s good he’s not gonna change sides against the JL any time soon.. hopefully..

He definitely can’t there are multiple beings that can erase him or disintegrate him he has been captured multiple times and can easily be stopped by a power ring especially if the person has mastered their part of the spectrum, he can be shrunk and he is completely useless against magic. He can body the humans and low level fighters but not even close to the entire DC universe

Yeah so his official origin is he was part of kite man's gang and Batman stopped the gang from robbing and it plastic man also known as Neil O'Brien fell in that of chemicals and his cells and the uniform he had on became polymerized allowing Neil the ability to change every molecule in his body
