Does l-5 in Washington Hold Gold Between Olympia & Vancouver?

Is there gold hiding along the I-5 corridor between Olympia & Vancouver Washington?
I found some but the current flood levels prevented me from safely prospecting more spots.
Join me in this adventure and let me know if you’ve had any luck along this corridor. I’m going to go back when the levels recede and the weather turns better!

Yo ATC! Thanks my friend! And you’re right… too bad most of mine are failures! lol! People want to see some gold and I’m working on it, slow and steady! I agree with the flooding too. I wanted to go walk up my creek when it was flooding but decided it was too high and dangerous, so I’ll wait for the next one so I can take a journey and read the water! As always… thanks man and I’ll catch you this weekend!

I'm glad you did post this vid Stony,, this is a big part of prospecting that tbh, i haven't seen any other chans do vids on.. to me, prospecting isn't so much about finding lots of gold but more about the hunt or adventure, getting out of the daily routine of work eat sleep and enjoying the outdoors (my church) ..

Amen Matt and well said. Man I appreciate you brother. I’m like you… I like the hunt and being outdoors is my escape from this crazy world we live in. It’s the only place I can truly relax, get wet, get dirty and not have a care at all. But don’t get me wrong… I want to find gold and I know it’s day will come. I’ll show my ups and downs (mostly) but like what you said… it’s the reality of truly prospecting. People need to see and understand that. It’s not always glitter and gold! Much love again :)

@@StoneyCreekSparkchaser My wife and I go up NF-42 and pan East Fork Lewis. Well, we've collected some dirt. I've dug down and found some black sand, but my eyes don't see up close anymore so it's hard to pan and see the really tiny stuff. So we sluice to reduce what we bring hope, then run it through a controlled sluice then clean up and look for gold. We have maybe 1/4 of a bucket of dirt. Will go out again next weekend if the weather permits. I really need to check my spelling closely when I use my phone, wow did I mess some shit up there. :D

@@StoneyCreekSparkchaserI have a 'slip out' paid on my keychain, but they stay on by pinching your nose so not good for over the river. I do have another pair in my car with a neck strap so I can't drop them, but I forgot to grab them this last time. There are a bunch of holes in bedrock the river has made, when the waters get high. I would think someone already hit them, but not sure. It's an obvious place for low water pressure after going over a higher point in the bedrock.

  • @StoneyCreekSparkchaser

@mbraden66 I just started finding bedrock hole (boil holes) on my creek (video coming out soon). I have found some tiny gold in those. From what I hear though, gold gets in them and then it blows right out because of the water pressure. Regardless, they are too tempting and juicy for me so I’ll always scoop them out and see what I find. I just have to check them… it’s like a moth to a flame. lol. So yea, I’d definitely check them and you never know, someone may of worked those holes years and years ago… they could have new food sitting in them waiting for you!
