Johnathan Russell has always put his body on the line for Jamaica. It is my opinion that he still has something to offer to the team in midfield. He can be one of the backups for the more prominent midfielders.

Much appreciation to your comment. I believe at his age he isn't a bad player. Based on his profile it is seen when he doesn't start much but can come from the bench. He the type of play that Jamaica has to consider since he has the physical presence and game awareness to boost our midfield.

Makes sense, but the pace in that midfield would be kind a slow since Russell and Palmer aren't that fast. However, Russell in the midfield would be a case he's coming from the bench.

What is he going to bring to the team, another useless player only seeking opportunity to get into the spotlight. Every national team want the best performing players to represent their country. Why shouldn’t we want the best players to represent Jamaica, JFF need to get with the times and improve their facilities and organization to make players coming to represent comfortable and feel secure with good medical staff in the event they get injured.
