I’m loving to hear that you’re recommending saturated fats for all the many reasons, skin health, brain health, etc. I’m age 60+, higher protein, higher saturated fat for the past 18 months. Feel younger, skin looks great with a castor oil application each night. Possible might above my ears in my scalp. Would you recommend castor oil application there as well?

Hi! Yes, castor oil is honestly my favorite remedy for Demodex.

What about Permethrin topical instead of Ivermectin?? I know it dries out your hair among other side effects (which I'm not really sure of) but if it is used to treat scabies why not Demodex?

You will have to do a trial and error phase for the cream - as long as you are implementing the correct diet and supplementation, your body will heal itself. Permethrin comes after the fact of making the commitment.
Do demodex travel in your hair and nose? I can feel tickling sensations in my hair and nose. I do have tiny white specs on the base of my eyelashes and the ends of my eyelashes ... almost dust like. I don't have swollen eyes or redness. My facial skin has tiny discolored bumps here and there around my eyes. I've been cleaning my eyes with tea tree oil pads and also put castor oil on at night and my immune system levels are low (bloodwork done) Does this sound like Demodex?

Yes! They can travel anywhere on your body that have sebaceous glands and they overpopulate when the immune system is lowered!

@TheMiteMedic Thank you. Trying very hard to improve my immune system. Not sure why my system is down but the stress of feeling these sensations hasn't helped.
Everyone please do as much study and precaution, before taking Berberine .

They are deep in the pores? Maybe olive oil can suffocate them like with lice? And what u think about fenbendazole?
