Does God perform miracles today? | Pastor Mark Driscoll

Ойын-сауық

Do miracles still happen today? Does God still raise the dead and multiply food? Watch as Pastor Mark teaches from 1 Kings 17:8-24 and shows how God supernaturally leads Elijah to a widow's house where God's power through Elijah helps save her and her son from multiple seemingly hopeless situations. The even better news is this same power that empowered Elijah is available to us today as our Father is still a God of miracles.

Very powerful. Very true. My beloved and I lost a son almost 7 yrs ago. He is a twin and passed in my arms 2 days before they turned 8 mnths. At the time, my beloved and I were barely believers. There was the cursing and yelling and the questioning. Through it all, my beloved and I became closer together and stronger followers. I struggle with guilt and self forgiveness. I keep giving to Abba. The one big thing that the Holy Ghost put on my heart and brought me peace. I was nothing but a steward. He was my boy and he was HIS son. Even though I question why on days, I have the peace that I will see him again and that he his with his Gramms and great gramps. This was confirmation. Thank you. Looking forward to attending again in person soon.

Unbelievable! I've been fasting and praying for a few years for my father now, and today, I wrote: I've delivered him in your hands, there is nothing I can do but pray and I believe you will finish the work you started on his life. But if I never see him again (problematic and abuse relationship), I have made peace with it. I believe that in heaven, we will meet again, and there we will have peace, we will be able to live in peace, which we were not able to do here, at least until this moment. And if I die today, I'm in peace with that. I believe I will meet him again in heaven, and I hope from the bottom of my heart that will be so. And unexpectedly, I hear this prayer in the end, which is exactly what I have told God just before watching it. Praise be God! ❤

Thank you for this message from God’s heart! It lead me to tears to know someone is praying so earnestly. I have been married for 23 years. The cry of my heart is that my husband Darryl will have an encounter with the living God! He is plagued by fear and debilitating anxiety. He is a Christian but is “ unable “ to attend church with me, or read, listen to the word. It breaks my heart we have no physical relationship. I believe in the risen God, Jehovah! Though as l write my heart is broken. Blessings to you and your family for blessing my heart with this message!

I am listening to this a month later and when you randomly felt led to pray for people, when you hit to the part of Christian families but having struggles with them and their being a family reunion it really spoke to me. I have been PRAYING nearly without ceasing for many of my family who have strayed from the Lord but are believers but have kind of gotten lost. Some are my sibling, my parents, my in laws, my adult son and his new wife, my teen child being led astray 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥺🥺🥹🥹🥹 thank you!!! I felt such peace in that moment.

We may be in heaven, we are in a beautiful garden, flying around the cosmos, with eternal life through our seed. You can't know joy without sadness, comfort without fear. This thing we call a planet that has an immense amount of just perfect coincidences for us to have this life we have. Defies all the laws of physics and probabilities.

That's why we have to meet people where they're at, when we tell them about jesus. Instead of being judgemental or think we are too good to go or be there. Jesus doesn't come to save those who know Him. He came to save the sinners. Regardless of class, color, sex, background. He loves all of us, the same. And regardless of how bad the sin. We are to mimic Him. Thank you so much he for your sermons. I like the way you break the bible down in lay-mans terms w/ a sense of humor, that's down to Earth. As above, so below. Shine On-

Yes, it IS in God’s will for us to be healed, delivered, and walking in freedom . There IS annoiting!!!! just like Keneth Hague and apostle Kathyrn. IF any pastor says “no” - they are wrong , they haven’t received TRUE revelation then . because it is in Gods will . The church of acts is coming back . There is a revival coming stronger than ever .

I'm a murderer. And Jesus forgives. I didn't know what I was doing at 18 when I had an abortion. I was 41 when I came to know Jesus and realized I was a murderer. That's a hard one to take. On either side of Him it, was still a loss. Jesus got me through. Because of Him I was able to forgive myself. I'm a murderer. AndJesus forgives.

The scripture reference, that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow is a proof against cessationism. If cessationism is true then this scipture can't be true. If Jesus healed in the past and not today, then he can't be the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I hope this makes sense to you.

I see this woman that EliYahu was sent to as a type of sinful Israel. What does Yehovah say to sinful Israel? Your maker is your... husband! You have been cut off from your husband. Who is Yehoshua Messiah? The one and only Son of the promise sent to Israel; who died because of their sin! What did Yochanan the immerser say about Him? Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! The three times EliYahu stretched himself out upon the child represent the time Yehoshua spend in the grave! As the one and only son of this woman arose from the dead; so also, did Yehoshua, the one and only Son of the promise! And I'm betting that EliYahu saw that too, at least in part, when He showed it to him as He showed it to Abraham at the place! For it is written... Concerning this salvation, the prophets who foretold the grace to come to you searched and investigated carefully, trying to determine the time and setting to which the Spirit of Messiah in them was pointing when He predicted the sufferings of Messiah and the glories to follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, when they foretold the things now announced by those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things. This is another reason why I believe that it was EliYahu who spent time with Yochanan in the wilderness; and, that it was EliYahu who sent him (by the Holy Spirit) to baptize with water so that Yehoshua could be revealed to him and to all Israel. Once Yochanan knew who He was; then, he was pointing to Him as that Lamb (one and only Son of the promise) until he was murdered by the Jezebel of his day. But, know this, Easter has nothing at all to do with Yehoshua Messiah; but, the feast of firstfruits does! Also, yes, Yehovah did kill the son; because, He knew He was going to raise him from the dead. The Father put the Son on the cross, and love kept Him there, and the power of love is stronger than the grave; so, in a way we can say, love resurrected Him as well.
