It was as always great to see you doing what you love. I have to say you have put SWA, on the map for me. I have never been on one of your planes but I plan to do it now because of you. I’m retired Army, and love seeing a Veteran who is doing well. Keep up the good work. I hope when I fly SWA, you are the Captain in the cockpit. Take care

Ern please, tell John Scarf. The waypoint called JEFFO. I saw his nickname on jacket. JEFFO is located between BWI and PUJ. I flew on the flight simulator last February on SWA MAX. I saw JEFFO. LOL John should fly to PUJ someday.

Must be so pleasant to fly with a Captain like you as a FO 👍👍

I couldn't figure out what airline John was furloughed from and how long he flew private.

Who won the noise abatement bet out of Orange County?

That's lame that you don't get to benefit from the loyalty rewards. I know it's common for corporate bookings but still it's a pretty low impact benefit.

Someone help me out on this. How do you earn that many points by flying private? I'm assuming he got points by putting hotel bookings on his card and getting reimbursed. Or was the plane fuel also used with a cc?

He flys both. He flies all of Southwest 737’s. Southwest pilots are trained to fly on all variants of its aircraft and from day to day you could be flying all versions.
