Not sure if Shew the Pew uses TCE, he does use that wedge breathing system which, INMO, encourages over breathing and there's too many damn steps in that ladder...he and Roger (Ingram) have used it with great success but, like everything it seems, it's not for everybody...trial and error...if it works for you, use it, if not, discard and move on...

I just thought it was interesting about his comment about using the tongue over the bottom teeth to hold down the bottom lip to play loud double C's...

@@trumpetthoughts what I've discovered is that if you find a technique that works for you-stick with it. I've NEVER been one to tell students this is THE way and the ONLY way to get the desired results.... it's like asking 'how much air does to take to play high notes?' It's the right amount for that particular individual...if 7 billion people played the trumpet, you'd have 7 billion different ways of doing it
