Ok I got every screw out but I can’t get the plastic frame off from the back by the heat syncs and I’m scared it’s gonna break

Will my PS5 has been sitting there for like 9 months and hasn't been cleaned yet

the second cover you pulled off has 2 vacuum holes which catches dust for the inside you should have vacuumed those 2 holes...

Do the white plates on the ps5 just come off or do I need to unscrew it

They just unhook, don’t just pull them, they need to slide slightly before being removed like in the video.

W guide i was able to make my ps5 working like its fresh outta the box 👍

If it's that dirty on the outside edges and the heat sink the power supplies gotta be caked

Can you use compressed air on the heatsink? And if so does it just send it further into the machine causing further problems later on? Mine is overheating on multiplayer games only and I do clean it as you've shown. I'm too scared to take the heatsink out though 😂

Compressed air is fine but I’m guessing the Liquid Metal (thermal paste type stuff) has a dry spot in the apu and so will need to be reapplied.

clean every 2 or 3 month and it will be a lot easier to clean.

my fan cover has black caps on the screws?? They won't come off, they're like rubber gunk or something. I can't get my fan cover off, help! Update: Fixed - only one side of the console has screws. The other side will have black caps you can't take off.

Correct, T8 (torx) but the security type that have a tiny indentation or hole, regular torx won't fit and you'll be turning the screwdriver 🪛 round & round for days, or until you realise something's up!

It's needed with ps5 and xsx, these consoles are dust guzzlers. Loads more then previous gens. Not the best design. Maybe because they are bigger then previous consoles.

If you need to clean your ps5 every 2 weeks, I suggest cleaning your room will reduce the need. 👀
