If mixing semi synthetic with petrol is anything to go by i cant see diesel mixing at all with fully synthetic.

The best videos are the least well known. Top notch m80

i do JasoFB(mine is green coloured) cheap 2t oil in my pd140 200ml on an almost empty tank then fill this up with 50L of regular diesel, i do this for over a year no issues everything runs great hope that continues that way.))

So here's hoping that this particular video & comments thread becomes a bit of a decent resource on the question of 'dosing diesel with 2-stroke' - starting with the essential myth-bust here, over whether or not mineral 2-stroke will separate & pool in the tank - 👍🏽. Adding to that knowledge-base then: Fine, it's argued to Eternity, whether or not it harms or benefits the engine, etc, etc. That'll likely remain inconclusive forever. However - I do have an example of a situation where 2-stroke dosing into diesel has completely eliminated a starting problem, caused by a sticky SCV (Suction Control Valve). A known problem on the Toyota Auris 2.0D4D - starting issues in the cold. Warming the SCV would solve the problem - but *so has 2-stroke dosing of the diesel* (1%). The logic is clear - the SCV has a metal piston in a metal sleeve. The extra lubricity has clearly prevented the sticking. I can even recreate the problem by ceasing dosing (next tank or more on). So - we have an example of a definitive outcome (I say benefit) of dosing, on the fuel-supply-side of things, at any rate.

I use Walmart's 2 stroke ash-less oil for my 2011 6.7 Cummins. One Gallon last me a bout 1 year., but I drive very little.

Using 2t fully synthetic from years. Engine working more quietly and fuel consumption gone down. I doing massive mileage so had many opportunities to compare results. My friend who runs taxi business using it from years and never had a usual DPF and injector problems, but again; fully synthetic

That's interesting to know, i thought that fully synthetic didnt mix with diesel well and normally gathers in the bottom of the fuel tank.

@@fiveminuteman it mix as normal, however to make sure that everything will be fine I always adding before refueling. Also, don't forget that fuel pump working all the time with efficiency of 120-250 litres per hour, so fuel is in continuous mixing process anyway.

Do you think commonrail systems can take it also? Id like to prolong injector life. Example 1.4 Tdi 2007 Thanks, Aron

That was a huge mix of oil, but you can gently rock the vehicle several times and the fuel sloshing will handle it.

Repeat with any 2S, jaso-fd+ fully most advanced racing synthetic mix perfecto with petrol and diesel. I have bottles on my shelf with, petrol, diesel and toluene (white spirit), and 2S synthetic stay on mixed like on day one.

Best for diesel are 2-ehn as cetane boosters and esters to increase lubricity. You can skip on esters as there is 7% biodiesel in diesel anyway. Add 2mL 2-ehn to every liter of diesel. Plus 8 to 9 cetanes, happy motor.

I can add 500ml 2T oil in 60 litter of diesel for euro 6 bmw engine? One injector is about to fail because bad quality diesel from my country.

Not sure i would do that. I stopped using 2 stroke in my 17 year old van. Now use BP Ultimate diesel. If you have any warranty you would invalidate it. You also have a DPF that could cause problems and also not sure about adblue. Dont do it.

0:29 you already made a mistake!!!! ADD 2 stroke FIRST!!!! It mixes when you add the diesel…. By doing diesel first they DONT mix!!!!! This automatically made me not trust you or any advice your going to give

You are 1 big mistake, 2 stroke added after in tgis case to show how it mixes after! Real world adding after isnt a biggy as it mixes by itself with slopping of fuel. You need to calm down!
