It works so well

I do love how distinctively avian this is. It's romantic, but in a fast-paced sense that's more often seen in bird courting dances, and has the fancy air of such in the way that it's a ball. There's no secretive, shameful tone to any of it, which makes it feel less like a ballroom full of people and more like one full of rare and beautiful birds. Thid is clearly intentional but it was still executed wondrously.

To this day this video remains one of my absolute favorite animated shorts ever. I absolutely adore everything about it, from the music to the character designs and the birdcage-like ballroom. I’m also in love with the bird people designs, they’re so creative and cute. This short alone is what really got me to go more out of my comfort zone with my own artwork and character designs, and I will forever be grateful for that. My only complaint is that it’s way too short. I’d love to see more of this world and these characters, even though I know that will most likely never happen. It’s just so creative, fun, and unique.

i love the art style and using the depiction of people with some bird like attributes, the music works well with the setting as well the classical ambiance of a gala, then leaning in on a flirtatious mood, bringing in an exciting chase leading them to the floor with everyone in shock but then they join in the fun and everything is a happy ending. and it feels like the equivalent of balls by AC/DC

This takes "ruffle up my feathers" To another level

For people who don't see it, the characters in this short are human bird creatures. The don't have physical bird features, but their attitude and gestures compare to one. The little man chirps in the beginning and his chest feathers puff us. Plus, the woman darts her head around quickly, while she ruffles her tail feathers at one point.

This is so cute I love the concept and the colors they put to this and how the characters are designed. The diversity is so pretty

uhm, our french teacher showed us this in class. we were in grade 8. it’s kinda cute though, love the style. goblins never fails to amaze me!

This reminds me of one of those Pixar shorts where the story and animation was made for purply for entertainment and experimenting with ideas. Also I like the character designs and the way they use characteristics of birds to present a feeling of emotion. For example, the feathers being puffed out to show signs of love and attraction to another person. p.s. Also the art style and animation reminds me of the animator vivziepop.

What a treasure, the animation os smooth and full of personality and the use of light and shadows is ASTOUNDINGLY good, every scene is filled with the atmosphere and nuance of the soft lights and bright colours. Also loved the detail of the windows looking like peacock feathers.
