The oem ccv filter did you modify it or just not put one in?

Did adding the breather and removing that line solve the exhaust brake problem? Did you leave any hose on the turbo where the ccv hose runs from factory? How did you block it at the turbo end ?

Yes it did resolve the exhaust brake issue. I left about a 10" piece of hose on the turbo side and put the plug that came with the original CCV delete kit back in the end of the hose.

Heard guys were having pressure issues with that little filter you screwed in on top. Have you noticed any oil coming out of dip stick? Your supposed to cut the ccv case too? Just gathering info here myself, something I'd like to do.

Hello Robert and thank you for checking out my video. I haven't had any issues at all so far with pressure issues. As for cutting the CCV case I'm not sure I understand what you're referring to, could you provide some clarification? Thanks again.

@@TheRetiredGuysGarage if you search for some ccv delete videos you'll see a few guys mentioning cutting some slots in the filter case so the pressure doesn't blow out the seals. Then again, there's always a few ways to skin a cat.
