Mines made an odd sound yesterday, but after maybe 3 stops (going to store turning car off and on) now the sound is gone. Should i still change it? Is this maybe an electrical issue MAF sensor issue?

Mine was belt. Even had white smoke come from the belt and a whining noise.

What was the problem? My car power steering intermittently is hard to turn, now the battery light is on, my car is making screeching sounds, and the AC is acting poorly
