For those reading these comments, I had similar issue where right blinker went fast, left was normal. Turn on hazards to show which bulb is out. Appeared that the rear right bulb was out. Great, that is way easier to replace. However, bulb was not burned out. The harness was the issue, like it wasn't making connection, so I squeezed the prongs inside harness closer together and put bulb back in... Bingo, back in biz boys. Took about 3 minutes start to finish. Good luck

Thanks for the vid. I went to change my bulb and like yours it just wasn't making contact. A shot of contact cleaner and it's working perfectly.

My fast blink was caused by the bulb next to the one you replaced,toward the radiator. Couldn't quite figure it out until tried the hazzard button,then one of the two that are supposed to flash,didn't. lol. Was able to get a hand in to change it but it was a pita to do,sure wish I would have seen this video showing the allen screw before I experienced the frustration. Good video,thumbed up!

Did the truck in this video have both turn signals flashing fast at the time or just that side mine has both flashing fast but 4 ways are normal speed so now I'm wondering if I'm having the same issue but maybe it's on both sides rather than just one side I just bought the truck yesterday lol

Bulbs are cheap and easy to replace, start with that, replace them, to it could be the controller in the fuse box... those are not expensive either.. thanks for checking out the vid..

I have an 02 Dakota SLT 4.7L. I notice your speedometer is different with higher measurements? Do you have an R/T?

I don’t think it’s an r/t… however if you are in the USA you might not have noticed mine is in kilometres per hour… otherwise not sure why it would be different.

@@kd_enterprise3404 i looked at the inner and upper. On yours it shows 100 mph top center. I didn't realize you were outside the U.S.? What's weird about these trucks is the clear lens on the corner that has nothing fir a light, and the side markers not designed to flash with the turn signals? Seems like an absurd design?

That sure isn't a 99 , effing nightmare just for the turn signal bulb . Whole assembly has to come out and virtually impossible to get the two assemblies separated and yes you have to separate them completely . EFF Dodge

its a 2003... so i guess progress was made.. sorry you have to deal with a complicated situation.....

A bazillion dollars. Damn mechanics really rip off Canadians in their own country huh. Wouldn't be more than about 200 million in the U.S.
