The 71-74 Chargers and Satellite/Road Runners were among the best-looking American cars EVER.

Most excellent. 71-74 gets over looked for 68/69/70. I still have a 73 thou not running, someday.

Yeah true, I mean Pontiac got some great cars too but man just look at the curves of all Mopars and listen to thier rumbly V8s, nothing can beat Mopar!

If only.....Dodge would take this body style and fit it with modern mechanicals....the engine, suspension, brakes, and electronics from an '18 Charger....and, please, with the six-speed manual...what a car that would be.

All I can say is Thank you!!! I had my '73 Dodge Charger for only 2 years before my I was forced to sell it. GOD!!! What was I thinking letting my future ex make me sell it? Lesson learned... don't give up your stuff to please a woman... it is double heart ache!!! The Charger is Gone, Long Live the Charger!!!

Bought a 1971 charger when I realized I was priced out of the 2nd generation. I never realized how beautiful these cars were. They always sat in the shadows of the 68-70 chargers . I think many are realizing these cars are hot! The prices are really going up.

All though I agree on some of what you said, I don't agree on everything. None of those cars were ugly, they just weren't Chargers. Especially the ones that weren't Chargers at all ! You had a Coronet your '76 section, a '78 Magnum as Idk Magnum replaced the Charger yet retained a lot of the '75-'77 looks. I won't mention the '80s Daytona. I agree '66 thru '74 we're the best Chargers by far. I had a '73 SE that I loved and currently own a '72 with a 440. The newer ones are nice just not what I think of when I think Charger. I also think the '80s chargers weren't even close the earning the Charger name.

@LMCranmer The lowered body and those big ugly ass wheels and low profile tires. I believe they'd be best referred to as "clown shoes". To me, it's an insult to do that kind of crap to one of the best looking cars ever made. AND whoever did so deserves a slap across the face.
