I got my 2018 Challenger SXT a month ago and thought the exhaust sounded a bit throaty. I decided to check today and see what my exhaust looked like. Sure enough I read the letters Borla Atak on all four mufflers. Turns out to be a cat back system! Was having a lousy day and now I feel like I just won the lottery lol 😎🙂 Nice video

I had four on mine and didn't like the sound and went with flowmasters. I still have all four mufflers though

@@travisunkown You had a Borla cat back system and cut out the mid mufflers and resonators to replace them with Flowmasters, or did you have a stock system that you replaced the mufflers and resonators with Flowmaster?? If you cut up the Borla system to add Flowmasters, that would be pure insanity.

@@rogerhumphrey9277 personally i love the act, i mean yeah it’s not insanely loud and i don’t have the “i own a V8 privilege” but it’s great. no problems at all and i’m always getting compliments about it. Runs smooth and looks like a beast. only thing i don’t like about it is how quiet it is. but if i’ve learned anything it’s that you can always upgrade the muffler (which i plan to do). but yeah i would definitely recommend the sxt, unless u want something louder like a V8 or somethin like that

Any 3.6L Challenger. It seems to get a bit “ricey” at high RPMs, but so do most of the systems that I have heard. Probably just something you have to deal with with this motor.

Just straight pipe it, put mine on today and sounds nothing like this vid, waisted $1500 on it when you can straight pipe it for 150-250

I didn’t know the v6 challenger sounded like that, it’s extremely quiet. You would think dodge would of wanted it to sound deeper and louder. Thank god I got the 6.4l v8

The 3.6L Pentastar motor does not allow for headers as the exhaust manifold is cast directly to the block. One of the few things that blows about these.

It sounds weird. My challenger is straight piped and when the rpms drop it doesn’t sound like that. The car sounds like it’s being choked when the rpms drop

Exhausts shouldn’t only things that do with the engine usually voids warranty like tuning. You can also call and ask if exhausts voids warranty but usually no

Is the sound to loud! to the point you will wake up your neighbors in the morning and also attract cops while driving? Also can you hear drone inside car while driving?

I have a challenger gt with the same exhaust and I definitely wake up a couple of neighbors in the morning but not obnoxiously loud and no there is no drone in the car and I haven’t gotten pulled over yet so the cops will leave you alone as long as u drive normally
