Please use your graphic EQ judiciously and when necessary. A slight (2dB) boost or cut here and there can really improve the sound if you're using the EQ as an elaborate tone control. For flat response in any room an EQ is essential. Even the most expensive systems can suffer from standing waves and room nodes which will ruin speaker frequency response. Also keep in mind that most all equalizers don't have an amp. The power comes from your amp, integrated amp or receiver. To much boost and high volume settings can overdrive your amp. A clipped signal can fry your tweeters! My EQ choice has (for 36 years) been an ADC Sound Shaper Two IC. It satisfies all my EQ needs. Good video.
