Hello, Esiri! Thank you for this informative video! Just to clarify for the folks in the comment section. I think you meant that IELTS is an equivalent for a proficiency test, not for TEFL/ TESOL certificate. Because IELTS does not provide the employer with any information on your knowledge of teaching methods and techniques (TESOL/TEFL does). Also, people need to take into consideration the fact that IELTS expires in 2 years and then one needs to take it again. For proficiency test I recommend to take a 90min EFset C2 (free, online) or Cambridge CAE / CPE (offline).

Yes, you need to if your BSc is not in education.

Please i have a TRCN certificate from Nigeria will it serve in Vietnam and must i authenticate my certificate in Nigeria before coming to Vietnam or i can do it in Vietnam
