Thanks babe, I’d say cafes are a good place to start, and if you drink then “beer street” is also a good place to meet people.

with the 3-month tourist visa announced, I've been looking at Hanoi to spend a quarter of the year next year. Thanks for the insight!

There are several good places you could visit and stay when you come to Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City ,Da Nang, Da Lat, Mu Nei and so on. @@esiriscorner

2:40 😢😢😢😢. The price on the menu makes me miss my country. I left to the US in 1994 when I was 4 years old. I haven't back since but am planning on to in the near future. I wonder if I will get a lot of stares because my wife is black and my kids are half lol

Would you advise one to come over to Vietnam in search for job aside the teaching

I honestly can’t say, teaching job is the most popular job here for foreigners, however I’ve met a few foreigners that are working in other sectors besides teaching.

I really don't like Hot and Humid weather. Perhaps it's cooler and more of a Mediterranean climate by the coast...

I am an English Teacher here, and the cost of living here is so cheap, and In my opinion one can live a very good lifestyle here because of how affordable everything is.

Plz can you help someone that want to move with his family to Vietnam to know what and what to do for visa etc

The best way is to find a job and then have your employer sponsor you and your family.

Hi! My 14 year old daughter and I will be spending 6 weeks in south east Asia with the last 3 weeks in Vietnam. I would love to meet with you. Hi, I’d be happy to meet when you are in Hanoi if I’m available for sure. As per looks, yea, you will get the odd stares here and there, but people here are very kind and welcoming. I’ve not experienced any form or racism or anything.

@@esiriscorner I am glad to hear! I was beginning to get a bit nervous. We visiting Spain for a month 2 years ago and ended our trip in the Canary Islands and the states were unreal. I said this is uncomfortable and if I am to encounter this I want to be prepared! We will be in Hanoi from May 9-13 and then will do a 2 day Hai Long Bay cruise then head back to Hanoi for 2 nights and then continue our travels throughout Vietnam hitting Hue Da Nang Hoi Ann and ending in Hoi Chi Minh before we head back to the states on May 29. I would be very honored if we can connect I’m sure it will make out stay that much better! I know you are teaching but if and when you are free! We can meet over Pho( dying for some authentic Pho)! How should we connect? via email?

This video is right what I needed 😂 I'm also living in Canada and feel so stressed here, that I've been searching where to move for at least one year, being Vietnam is one of my plans. Did you get a work permit to teach English so you could stay longer or you just extend your tourist visa? And is it possible to just use English or did you have to learn Vietnamese?
