This aint Doctor Who its Doctor Gakwas Disney adventures.

Nobody cares about this. This isn’t doctor who. The problem is instead of just acting, they are judging their worth by their skin color and what they do in the bedroom. Nobody cares. Just give us good storylines. It never mattered in the past if Ripley was a woman, if Nikita was a woman, El Mariachi was Mexican. They were just good stories. And since it matters these days, yes I’m Latino. We all just want good writing not political brain washing

Huh? They’ve hardly mentioned that the doctor is black? But let’s also remember that this is a time travelling show… being black can have real world implications. Si-fi shows work best when they adapt real life scenarios and expand them to 100. Slavery, AI, prejudice, religion, warfare, politics, climate change all have their place in si-fi. What else would they even write about? Most of the time it leads back to real world politics, maybe you don’t realise it half the time.

@@joshuaadams6565 clearly you haven’t seen the interviews. Also, myself being a minority will tell you this since you don’t understand my minority point of view. I don’t want stories about me being a minority. Most of us just want a story. By focusing on race, gender, or sexual preference, you are reducing us to those titles and not just treating us as individuals. Are stories written about white problems? No they are just written about problems. We want the same and until that happens, we will not be seen or treated as equals.

@@joshuaadams6565 clearly you haven’t followed the new actors statements or interviews. as a minority myself I’ll explain to you. In the past episodes were the Dr’s problem “white problems” Were they heterosexual problems? No they were just good stories and acting. Same for Ripley in Aliens, Nikita in La Femme, or Carl Lewis in Predator. Just good acting and stories. As I minority, this is what those of us who don’t play the race or victim card want. The minute you make a story about revolve out race or identity is the minute you reduce us from being equals to just my race. Instead of being just a man, now I’m a brown man. Until we just see each other as equal human beings and quit reminding people of their differences, we all cannot truly be equal.
