Today, I'm (briefly) explaining the timeless charm of Doctor Who, a British science fiction series that has captivated audiences since 1963.
Doctor Who is a science fiction television series that has been broadcasted by the BBC since 1963. The series, created by Sydney Newman, C. E. Webber and Donald Wilson, depicts the adventures of an eccentric alien called the Doctor, part of a humanoid species called Time Lords from the planet Gallifrey.
From their origins as the first Doctor, portrayed by William Hartness, to the introduction of Ncuti Gatwa as the fifteenth Doctor, Doctor Who has not stopped evolving over the decades. The series is known for its storytelling, the time travelling TARDIS, and especially iconic villains such as the Daleks and Cybermen.
In addition to the BBC, Doctor Who has also seen involvement from production companies such as Big Finish Productions, Bad Wolf Studios, and now even Disney, pushing the show far beyond its original scope.
