I could be wrong, but did he not say 256 blocks from the top to bottom? I mean, that stack I built was exactly 256 blocks, so it should "work" even if the world height was changed

i dont think spawning a snow layer on ice with a command block really counts as "placing" the snow layer also about the going to the bottom thing at 6:21 ,his video was possibly before the build height got extended,seeing as there is no deepslate in this world (although he could be in 1.17)

What if the things have changed from updates or it’s still there just in a different version?
