You ask, what do we like? My response: I enjoy everything you share. What I most like and learn from are your vessel operations in real-time without too much editing. For example, route planning, course, anchoring, docking, maint, repairs, problem-solving, tide/wind/weather management, etc. I'd like to learn from your experience and adventure vs. just sightseeing with you. And, I enjoy the sightseeing and your overall story. Rob

Especially interesting to see Shawn problem solve on repairs and maintenance
That marina was amazing. I can’t believe the facilities, produce, just everything . By the way Elizabeth you look amazing in anything you wear, hats, glasses, cold clothes, warm clothes, you sport them all well.
Hubby & I missed you when you took your break. We love watching your adventures with your pups. Your content is the best and a history lesson. Where you go we go….LOL ❤
The sea state was amasing, just perfect.
I so enjoy your content. It’s easy viewing, informative and humorous. Thank you.
I like the everyday news and the exciting news and everything in-between. I have fallen in love with BC and the sound and all the places you go thanks to your videos. Im glad you're back!
During my Navy time,we spent 176 days at sea, in the middle of the south China Sea, the amazing thing is when we got 300 miles from the Philippine islands. We could smell them nothing bad it smells like soil because at sea there is no odors just sea air. Just for laughs. We all had a hard time walking on solid ground we kept feeling like we were wobbling.
Another awesome Sunday with Freedom!
Greetings from Switzerland and Happy Sunday to all of you out there! Thanks dear MV Freedom Crew for sharing another video of your daily life on board. Yes, in yachting life, there are also times when you’re "just" cruising from point A to B and there’s not much going on (you think). So, thank you for sharing with us the real life on board and not just Instagram style pictures of your journey. See U in your next video!
Every laundromat needs a library, I'm convinced of it!

Yes indeed, maybe we’d all be smarter!
Love the long-cruise videos - it reminds me of growing up and waking up on the small trawler we had. I used to love the sound of the diesel rumbling away. It was always a treat to wake up whilst underway. Less so, if you have an early-hours stint at the helm on ‘log-watch’, I’m sure! 😂
We all love ❤ everything about your videos. For myself I’m vicariously cruising with you as I look up locations in my WAGGONER CRUISING GUIDE all the various locations you mention and read about them. Love the drone video as MV Freedom cruises southeast along the West side of Vancouver Island (left of screen to the right of screen) indicating your return to home port. Excellent video editing. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Travel safe 😊.
For those wooden beam tie ups, a clove hitch works great as long as the dock line isn't too long. We stayed at Sullivan Bay one night last summer on the way to Alaska. It was nice, and I understand it's remote for supplies, but holy s**t was it expensive! Underway, we listen to audio books from the library downloaded when internet is available. We become so engrossed in the stories, the hours pass really quickly and we forget to eat or exercise.

Glad those Canadian pirates ☠️ didn't pillage your Bud Light 😂

Transgender pirates aren't overly concerning to anyone.
very nice episode, thanks for sharing...also your already dang good editing skills keep constantly improving, well done.
What a view, BC is beautiful. Very good narrative, video editing, and music to match. Thanks for sharing.
It was pretty neat to see what goes on when y'all are on a 30-hour cruise. Shawn's Taco's looked tasty that he made. Shawn seems to be a really good cook. Elizabeth is pretty lucky to snag a fella who likes to cook. 😁 The floating marina was an awesome place to check out. I enjoyed that. Freedom cruised through some nice smooth water....the drone footage of Freedom cruising was pretty awesome. Anyways....a marvelous video.

Yes Shawn’s becoming an AWESOME cook! Maybe we’ll do some short cooking vids to share his top recipes 🤔

@@mvfreedom Yes! We would love to watch Shawn cook some of his top recipes. I've seen you throw together some nice sweet desserts. I like dabbling with cooking myself.
I absolutely love every one of your videos but crave some videos showing your comfort times just living on Freedom. One of my most favorite times on my boat was anchoring and snuggling down with a cup of coffee on a gray rainy day. Keep travelin.
I haven't been in Sullivan Bay for 25 years or so, it was a great spot then but without many of the amenities you enjoyed. One of our first overnight passages was from Sullivan Bay to Haidi Gai, then known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. We spent ten days or so circumnavigating the southern island before continuing our circumnavigation of Vancouver Island.
One of the better videos. Life tops all other activities.
I do agree on the Cholula hot sauce. That stuff is the best.
Perfect episode! Thank you for sharing. Love to see your trip planning and food/snack prep.
excellent video and music selection thank you how's your starlink been
The marina looked great .
I loved everything about this video! The spectacular destinations you feature like the hot springs are very cool to see. However, I really like the "in-between times" I truly find it fascinating. It is like we are on Freedom with you. Thank you for taking us along =)
Part of the cruise is what you eat how you eat it when you vacuum and all these little things it makes life here interesting seeing how you are living there
Love the long duration cruising, have done a few 56 plus hour jaunts on a N50 on the East Coast Bahamas to Cape Cod....up and down for a few years in a row....loved it
Love your vlogs, and yes all aspects of your boat life please as one day it could be me.
Im sorry to see that you were in such a rush that you missed all of what is so hard to get to on the west coast of the island. Quatsino Sound, Brooks Peninsula, Kyuquot Sound, Nootka Sound and Clayoquot Sound define this incredibly beautiful remote coast. Hope you may have a chance to revisit the area when you have more time. Safe travels to you.

Yeah I was wondering why they missed all that area
Thanks for sharing this part of the trip. Enjoyed the video.
I just want to tell y'all that I love your videos but there is just now enough of them, y 'all are doing what my wife and I always waned just never made it happen and now to old. May the Lord bless you and keep y'all safe
Great video guys. I’m sure most of the folks here are interested in everything about boat life. I too cracked up at the snack joke Shawn 😅.
What a great posting kids, allowing us to view just how you handle those long years overnight passages. Love floating village to, with pee pad for your pups. Does Sully have a little “hitch in his get-along”? I agree with you on earring while traveling, nothing sits well. Your lifestyle is just delightful and I’m jealous!
Another great escape! Yah, the life has the downtime, great you show it for what it is, ya still got my favorite puppers, and scenery for centuries..love your shows!!!
We love the little stuff that goes on underway. Keep it coming. Sea Ya Later.
Enjoyed the video. I always enjoy how “real” you are.
Thanks for taking us along! :)
I enjoyed the video. Everyone loves food. It would be cool if you shared the presentation. Cheers!
What a wonderful way to live. Bravo 😊
Great job - Sullivan Bay looked so cool.
Thoroughly enjoyed that!
Neat to experience underway from my home! Thank you.
Thank you for taking us along on your journey/travels. The problem with buying a boat/yacht, once you've rolled your dice you soon wish you'd bought something bigger.
A little scary watching you guys sailing through the night. I know this body of water and it can change in an instant - so glad you made it safely. Get home safe as the rain and winds are fast approaching- thanks for sharing!
I love you guys. I live in Texas now but lived in Poulsbo for 18 years and loved cruising puget sound. Also like the Bud Light reference !!!
Your warm head cap is very appropriate seeing how far north you are... The North Face :)
How lucky and fortunate you guys are to live and experience this, great content, many thanks 🙂
Nice to see your video. A wonderful performance of your boat in this long trip. Good to see you!
The regular boat life is great, yes, we are interested
In spite of your doubts your 30 hours at sea was very interesting.
Thanks as always for your inspiring and beautiful content!! You’re so right about how fast the time flies while underway - not what you’d expect! BTW, a rebounder on board is a fabulous way to get that cardio in along the way!! Find a bungee model, crank up the music, and a 15 minute jump gets the heart rate up and running!
Really enjoy the background music.
I’m 90% positive I held the door for you at the marina yesterday but it took me 10 seconds later to realize.
Sullivan Bay Marina is so cool. No relationship to Mr. Sully? As always I love your navigation and videos!!

No but it was quite fitting for the little guy to visit a marina in his name 🐶
Basically, anything you post. I like the destinations, your interactions, the boat, the whole channel. Keep doing what you are doing. Is Mexico in your future? Im heading south.

Yes at some point, but we still have Alaska and so much more of BC to cover before heading south.
Love the vids! I get to explore through you good people. I like Shawn and all but we need more Elizabeth on screen!!
Great job!
Yes tell us everything about trips!!
That was a long trip, but it seems like y'all have everything worked out between you. You mentioned pirates once. Have y'all ever encountered pirates, and what would/did you do? Thanks for sharing.
great drone footage, beautiful NW waters

SW waters . . . of BC
Awesome!!!
Piece of heaven
Awesome scenery and video as always! Just curious if you run your generator the whole passage or do you have inverters?
@mvfreedom
10 ай бұрын
We don’t run the generator underway, only at anchor 1x/day to recharge the batteries if we’re staying more than a night.
What a collection of fender heads.
Thank you so much for sharing this video of Vancouver. I have always wanted to explore those inlets. There are so many inner big bays up there. Thank you for sharing this video of exploring those remote waterways 😊😊😊
Great videos ❤
Nice cruise.
Have to watch out for those Vancouver pirates they are ruthless.
I enjoy watching you doing nothing. And I can fast forward if I get bored. --BAK--
Just a damn good episode!
Too bad your schedule was tight. Going into Quatsino Sound to Winter Harbour would have been very cool. Long legs are fine if the weather is cooperative! I like the idea of the bar light on the bow😅.
Great video.
Looks like a lot of fun
Love the show thank you!
That is a great place
Not bud light. 🤣🤣🤣
Wow! I really enjoyed this video. SHAWN the bow light is that new or do you just hook it up when needed? Thank for sharing and safe travels 😊.
The top end of the island is good for halibut fishing. I use to commercial fish up there with my Dad on a 40’ troller and had to go hid in Cox island when the weather go nasty. I love Hot springs cove and Tofino, Uqluelet and Barkley sounds and the broken island group for cod fishing.
Oh this is definitely not a SEA-TAC survival guide lol
wow I learned so so much with this video.. thanks so much..
I've never seen the open Pacific that flat. Very nice trip.
what song is being played when you were walking on the dock--like i am listening to knkx
Give us a wave as you cruise by Sooke can see you from our deck, very calm in the juan de fuca straits right now.
Hey guys, been enjoying your videos down here in Western Australia. Guess it may be coming to an end for you guys, but I'm looking forward to more content. Light winds. Dale
Thank you guys for Sullivan...
Hello. Would you mind sharing what your average fuel consumption is @ cruising speed? (For those of us looking at full timing it). I notice from your vids you seem to cruise at 7 knots approx. Also you have a single eng with a wing? Thanks from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 keep up the great videos
@mvfreedom
10 ай бұрын
Yes we have a single main and wing as backup. We cruise at an average of 6.8 knots and burn about 2.5 gal per hour of our 1,200 gal fuel tank. We average 1 refueling per year.

@mvfreedom wow! That must be an expensive fillup. Whatever you do don't fill up in Canada. Lol. Thanks for the reply
I love this area of the world to vanf and Nelson bc
"Saved our marriage today" I love this comment re the headset - such give & take
Nice...do a vid on all that fancy instrument stuff.
When you have long or difficult passages please show yourself at the destination. Closes the purpose of the trip.
lol most of us are sitting around in our undies watching other people live their lives, it's not like we got anything better going on at the moment.
What a beautiful helm I could sit there for hours
Orange, Lemon lime, Pear, Tangerine are the best. And yes, we do want to know what happens on the cruising part of the cruises. Maybe even a peak at a quik look at the engine checks while underway, or any equipment checks. the boating part of the trip. Another question, for long legs, do you sometimes make meals ahead, and put them in fridge for quick microwave, if needed, while underway? Oh, well, guess that's more for Shawn, since you mentioned you typically don't eat while underway
Don't get me wrong but is Freedom nose ballasted she always seems to ride nose down ? just wandering. Love watching you guys Thanks

Wow, fantastic journey....oh, oops, I'm on my bed & not on your boat like I thought I was a few minutes ago.
More outstanding Vid… Our longest runs are to the keys for the month of July… Ft Pierce to Key Largo…. 195 miles doc to doc. Best Time 4:15….. Worst time: 7:00 …. .8 to .9 mpg… 😎 Just a wee bit more than your burning per hour 😂
How much fuel do you burn on a 30 hr cruise?
I like Mr Sully
Hii there, love your videos. But your "bell" dont work... Hello from Bergen,Norway. 😃😃😃😃😃😃
Hiya, questions around your latest passage please.....how much would you notice if the stabilisers stopped working, and have they? Do you usually make water when under way? It looked like your main engine RPM way at 3500, is this correct? We love your videos xxx
