At least if it’s something like velma you could understand why they should have shelved the project seeing the dumpster fire that was but stuff like high guardian spice while poorly written and produced actually tried to make something that people would like to see Coyote V Acme could have actually done well with and without the nostalgia bonus so while not award winning on streaming or theater it would not have bombed and brought in a decent profit if it was a good product

Like, they make the movie and put it on the shelf, writing it off as a potential flop in order to get their money back (which studios do ALL the time) while leaking info online in order to gauge public outrage online. And if there’s enough outrage, they release the movie and rake in the cash, thus making money hand over fist?

For the longest time there have been no consequences for people at the top of the ladder, only recently has a hint of consequences began to reach them but the consequences are not enough to actually deter bad actions. The fines businesses have to pay are not assessed to charge fair percentages creating what is equivalent to security theater but with accountability/oversight it's the same with the medical industry with the harmful pharmaceuticals that shouldn't have passed trials let alone been released as not a controlled substance when the majority of healthy control individuals dropped out of the trial period less than halfway.

It's bs and we know it. Zaslav just doesn't want the best movie WB has had in a while to be a movie produced under former management

So the reason why there not releasing the movie is for tax write offs they made it so they wouldn’t have to get rid of the money they made and now they are vaulting it even though movie is completely finished.

Hey Dan! Since you are talking of this, and I got some interests on the Looney Tunes cuz Multiversus re-releasing again, mind talking of those comics with the Looney Tunes? I literally was joking with a friend "would be funny if Martian Manhunter and Marvin the Martian were in the game at the same time, right?".... And there's an ACTUAL crossover hahaha. The same with WW and Taz btw

Reminds me of the fantastic four movie that was being made and then completely canned just so the company can keep the movies rights. What's even worse is that most of the cast and crew didn't know and actually put a lot of effort into it.

Having read the entire script/storyboard (don't know the terms) when it was leaked, this would've been an insane movie that I would've loved to see. It only had like one really dumb cliche that I despise, but kinda twists it around at the end so it's still okay. Warner Brothers died when they merged with Discovery. They were already on their last legs, and that just cemented their death.

They will absolutely make their money back if they put it in theatres. Don't be scared of the G rating.
