After a year of creating Geocaching content centered around finding Geocaches, Hullsome takes on a new challenge. Hiding a Geocache of his own! I custom built this geocache container and walk you through all of the steps that you need to take to hide your own Geocache. If you're the first person to find it, you'll receive $20 as a reward for being the FTF (First To Find)! The name of the Geocache is Log In A Log, and it's hidden in Boise, Idaho. The Geocache code is GC9TGDZ. Could you find this cache?!

something that helps me when hiding a cache is finding the location first then designing the container for that area which helps in allot of cases

Completely agree!!! We actually had the spot in mind before designing the container. Should’ve added that into the video!!!

That's a quality first hide, well done! However that's a micro all day, or an other if you want to add some mystery.

I really appreciate that Mike!!! I almost had it as a Micro but my girlfriend and I decided the log was part of the container? Now that I’m thinking about it, ‘Other’ would have been a good one to use. Thank you for watching!

@@hullsome That's my thinking, other is probably the best, or it would be for me. Since the cache is way bigger than a micro, but at the same time the core log container is a micro.

@@hullsome I have, about 35 total and about 15 currently active. Tweaking the size and D/T can be some of the hardest parts because it's so subjective. You put in some solid work on this one, it should blend in really well under that bush and the clear coat is an A+ move for longevity.

Beautiful piece of driftwood. I make lots of creative caches using logs but don’t have any driftwood. Good tutorial.
