American people are going broke, literally. Middle class is non existent anymore. Rent, electric, and food especially has increased so much. A 1 bed 1 bath apartment today would cost you $1800 to rent a month. That same apartment would be $700-$900 just a few years ago. Food is insanely expensive as well.
