as a builder using blender has HELPED incredibly with speeding up builds and making me own assets for interiors and just made my builds look 10x better and less laggy

There’s actually a plug-in called beveler, and it actually saves a lot of time. I’m currently making a game without blender, but it still looks cool in my opinion. I find block-based builds a little more appealing than blender/low poly/etc style builds. That’s just me though.

If you are a modeler or a Animator you should consider using this if you are thinking of making a low poly or just generally use free models it isn't really necessary, Overall do use it.

All you have to do Is Ctrl + D, move it where you want it, Ctrl + Shift + N the thing to negate it, then Ctrl + Shift + G to union it on Roblox studio.

As a scripter with next to no building skills, ever since I've learnt blender I've been able to make some cool looking builds from just knowing the bare basics. Just take 30 minutes a day and learn it, you'll thank me.

Yeah, forget the blendee donut, takes too long, you just go into it with an objective and it will work. For my first blender model (a bench) i just followed a 6 min tutorial, and just learn about the interface, how to move around, shortcuts, all of that way more than I coulda done watching that donut tutorial. It's possible, just reserve some time to learn it

You can make a model in roblox studio by mixing models in toolbox or making your own by doing many parts.

1:50 It may look cleaner, but if you import it into Roblox, it will triangulate the model then it'll look basically the same as Roblox's union mesh. (You noticed this at 1:55.) It's better to make more complex unions in Blender instead of Roblox Studio, though, because you can optimize the meshes and make them lower-poly where it's needed.

You will still upload it as meshpart though and meshpart have more optimizations options more than unions

blender is kinda overpowered

I think the part that is scary to me is when Roblox moderation keeps on banning ppl for uploading simple blender items due to how they name the items. I have heard so many scary stories of this subject. Can you please advice us on the best way to name an objects before you upload the items to Roblox studio.

Realistically if you want a chance at becoming a successful roblox developer then Blender will make it a lot easier. However there are developers such as packstabber who are very successful and cannot 3d model, that being said the successful developers I do know who can't model pay other people to make models for them PS Robuilder: Roblox automatically turns everything into tris, even if you upload a mesh, it's turned into tris.

Blender is a really useful tool for every type of game, so if you ever switch off roblox developing to another game you wont start from scratch.

I mean realy depends how good are you with union but problwm with blender i would say there are more triangles

you can do alot without blender but if you plan to do commissions for building you 100% need to learn it

I don’t think any Popular Roblox Game doesn’t use Blender, if you want to make a low poly game you don’t need blender, But id you wanna make cool Effects (VFX) Or want to make a successful game, Blender is a go. Blox fruits (I think) Roblox Bedwars, Adopt me (pretty sure), Doors, and basically every Popular Roblox game developers need to use Blender, especially if you wanna make your own looking 3D Objects, like a Gun. So simplified (JUST USE BLENDER)

I recommend Daniel Krafft's "# tips" videos. I believe I watched mainly just those videos then I could get used to Blender easier.

yeah no i tried blender watched tutorials and i still cant do anything i cant make swords or anything i want i just give up on learning modeling

It depends on your skill. If you don't want to know the modifiers, vertex groups, edges and other stuff then you can just use parts, cylinders and other stuff. They will both look good, just use what you prefer. I as a scripter use blender because i am not that good at modeling with unions and blender is more comfortable for me

And the model will probably be HUGE after importing it, so it'll take more time to scale it down. (If Blender is set to use metric and centimeters, then you import characters from Roblox Studio, you can make 3D models scaled relative to them and they'll import into Studio at the right scale.)
