Lucy, why is it only to B1 level? C1 or C2 levels should be the final goal, shouldn't be? B1 isn't enough for a full communication with natives.

Mine is between a0 and c1, depending on the situation. When I'm talking to an Irish guy, it's about a0, but if I'm talking to someone from the US, it can be c1.

Lucky you! I want to be C2 academically. I want to reach the level that when I read old English novels I rarely check Google translate. I want to talk as a native speaker, but at the same time it's been years that I don't feel like studying English anymore, I'm kinda bored and that's my problem.

Got my C2 this last summer (221 out of 230, yes I'm bragging, forgive me since here it's the only place where i can do it), and I'm loving your channel! Even when you've mastered a language on paper there's many things left to learn, and your channel is amazing to do so, i find it particularly helpful since you focus a lot on pronunciation and fluency which is something non native speakers can get rusty after not practicing English irl after doing so for years (16 in my case!). Imma recommend your channel to my former english teacher and use it myself on lessons I teach!

19 years since my first english class and I proud to say that I am C2!! Hve being working on a British company for the last 3 year gave me the confidence to claim my self a C2 student. I love your content, please do advanced videos more often!!!

C2 here... only because I lived in the USA 18 months. When I got there, I was somewhere in the B zone. Complete immersion is awesome for getting a language. I spent all the money... but I still have my english! :)

I'm probably C1 in writing, reading and listening; but more like B2 when it comes to speaking. I never get any changes to practice prononciation

I certainly hope my English is at least good enough. I was an English language journalist for decades.

How did you improve your production(writing/speaking) I think I am easily between C1-C2 with my listening and reading comprehension. But the problem is with my production which is probably between B1-B2.

*Self-taught. But you might be B2 already, it is the most common level for people like us who learnt through exposure to different forms of media.

I've got a C2, first time when I did back in 2020, it was a C1 level. However, since I live in a non English speaking area, I've got only a B2 in spoken skills. I did a test only moments ago. PS: Any pointers you can give to raise this B2 to a C1 or perhaps even a C2 level ?
