За 40 лет кусок в этом месте сгнил и отломился. Его немного обновили, покрасят и он простоит ещё 40 лет. Поменьше негатива. Вы же дружелюбные иностранцы, а не злые русские 😂

Man you are so correct. These guys act like they have never done any hobby welding whatsoever. I'm still waiting to see one of these experts run beads on very thin material and show us how it's done.

Not at shipyards. They do this every day when the fittings aren't right. With enough heat it will basically burn through everything in it's path slag included.

That is not how to weld a gap. You have to run a bead on each side until they eventually merge. Slugging a gap will get you fired on the job. I promise you.

When you have something that doesn't require too much sense of strength that's the perfect idea instead of wasting too much time and making a beat on every side for something that doesn't require it too much tensile strength

All these comments and no one has posted a video anywhere on the internet showing how to run a true bead while stick welding on rusted thin material including me. Why? Because you cant if you really know welding. I guarantee you will blow clean through after about one half in.of trying. Production welder 29 years and counting shipyards and navy vessels.

Grind and weld the back around 10 amps higher with a proper continuous bead( uphill) and your good period.

Под ответсвенное соединение не годится, в калитках и заборах или декоративных элементах будет норм. Кстати, чешуя получилась вполне приемлевого вида, можно было и не стирать.

Yes, yes it is, there are special cameras with protected lenses specifically for welding

if one cell of the CCD get overloaded it can bleed charge to the neigbouring cells, that's where the stripes come from.

Only good at a cosmetic level. Poor welding practice that results in a weak weld, prone to fracture failures if all but very minimal stresses applied. This technique might work for MIG welding (although really not too well) but not stick.

Don't weld like this. It's bad. If you weld like this you can take a pair of pliers and easily break this whatever it is but it's not a completed weld.

Well on what he's doing it's fine. We have used slugs on ships countless of times. It all depends on who's welding it. Slug the gap and crank up the juice.
