Ingredients:
Orange juice - 250 ml
Corn starch - 120 g
Sugar - 200 g
Salt - a pinch
Butter - 10 g
Zest of 1 orange

Cooking
Peel the zest from one orange and set aside. Cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice. After straining through a fine sieve, you should get 250 ml of finished juice. You will need from 2 to 4 oranges, the amount depends on the size of the oranges themselves.
Pour the juice into the pan, add sugar and cornstarch, mix until smooth, stir well all the lumps.
Remove the mass to the fire and, with constant stirring, cook the mass until it thickens. When the mass thickens, add butter and salt, mix.
When the mass thickens even more, then it is already possible to stir it not with a whisk, but with a silicone spatula, it is more convenient. You need to cook until the mixture stops sticking to the pan and gathers in a lump.
Then transfer the mass to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (I used a baking dish for rectangular cupcakes). Spread evenly and leave at room temperature to cool completely.
Then you can cut into small cubes and roll sweets in sugar. They turn out delicious and soft. Be sure to try this recipe.
