actually this flytech was made from my friend‘s factory but was printed flytech。now its better ，leave ur message if u want buy 。

It would be really nice to put a Crystal Sky or some type of Live Camera Feed on it to maneuver where you cant see it. I almost bought this but i thought it was too slow for me, im going to just attatch my fishing line to a regular rc speed boat. Althought the 4 hours of run time makes me want to get this a whole lot more now, very impressive.

Thoughts from a fisherman. I think its for the ages 14 and under. It can only be used on small lakes and ponds. Don't think the motors can handle much wind or cut thought the grass. You might have to go swimming to get it back. Also the bucket/hook release would be best for small suspended fish because if you tried to troll a lure behind you might hook into a monster and have to go swimming to get it back. So this would be great to keep a kid busy at a weedless pond.

Baitboats were mainly designed for Carp anglers. This to make it possible to fish under the bushes or trees.. Today's generation of boats are equipped with the best high end rc parts and often have options like GPS Mapping, GPS way points and even fishfinder with colour displays.. This baitboat is nice if you require a cheap boat with no extra options. For a carp angler with budget this boat would not be suitable for him...

I just happened upon this video as I was thinking about how to rig a line from an RC boat. I was wondering if it would be feasible to attach a line from the boat to shore and reel in when something is on the line... ?

I think the reason it goes so slow is not to lose your hook/ flip or tip the boat and to minimize the disturbance to the fish that you’re trying to catch. I don’t like fish but I enjoyed the tranquil cruise on the water. Thanks!

The flip 90 degrees and point straight up (no dragging in the water). At the start when I take it out of the car the buckets are at max height. Again when I demo how the buckets work, they are at max height.

I don't fish either (except for bargains on Ebay 🤣) - but the boat has a cool Carbon Fibre look finish on it - if they made a version that topped 40 mph it could be of some interest to me and probably lots of others - cool concept idea though and a great review as always 😍😍👍👍 BUT! Cap'n, did you forget to show us a live demo of the specialist 'bait deployment system' in action - which is the whole reason for the boats existence - or did I miss that bit?? 🤔

Sorry about the ice. Can you guess the maximum wind speed this boat could operate at? In Hawaii 20 mph is the norm. I have seen plenty of flying drone fishing fail vids. To a drone newb it’s not always obvious why they they crash. What are some of the main reasons why drones fail when pulling out a fishing line?

Does the boat have to be moving? Can the boat just sit in the same place to ensure an accurate drop of bait or does it have to be moving? Cheers

I really like the looks of this craft but the thing I don’t get is why do the motors turn on when you power on the transmitter? That seems a bit odd to me. Anywho, great video Capt and have a great weekend!!

For the video I had the motors engaged when I turned it on to show that point. If you turn on the remote and the joystick is centered and no buttons are pushed, it just remains silent.

Yes. Made more for lakes with still water.

These bait boats have been out for time sort of takes the point out of fishing but big fish specimen hunters use them for fishing tight to trees & snags where there is not much room for casting error more for Lake or reservoirs than open sea. My friend is Bailiff at specimen water in France if you would like a fisherman's perspective he would probably love it.

Would be awesome to have but I don't think it would do very well on the beach, if you have the money you can buy what is called a kontiki from nz, prices range from 1800 to 5000.

Is it powerful enough to use in the ocean off the pier?

No reception? The only reception you need is between the item in your hand and the boat.

Your original question asked about reception which sounded like you were very confused thinking you needed some form of internet connection when in reality you could use this product anyplace in the world as long as there is a signal connection between the remote in your hand and the boat.

Seems like a decent budget bait boat .. would love to see your thoughts and review of a fishing drone ... The only dedicated ones I've looked at i.e water proof and capable of carrying 6lb comfortably are stupidly expensive u must have a drone lurking around that do the job .. I used my Air ha it didn't go well !

After watching Ur review of the f11 I bought one works perfectly using waypoint s function to drop bait on the button everytime. Wish though there were a payload release rather than the rubber bands and coat hanger I use 😂😂😂

You may find that DJI will be branching out in their product line up in coming years, so a plane, FPV Race Quad, helicopter, car, boat, underwater drone by DJI is not out of the question.

The orange thing is called a fish fork. You release it with the bait so the fish have something to eat with. They use their little "fishy" fingers.

Oh, you mean by hitting either of the two buttons on the remote? I did, but it ended up on the cutting room floor when editing because after I flipped the buckets I had to bring the boat back to shore to close them. Also when I opened the buckets with the boat on shore I kept hitting the throttle so the buckets would flip open and the props would spin which would have confused people... so I just left that segment out. If enough people ask I'll do a follow up video.

I have always found that cheaper bait boats just don't have the power to get a strong fishing line out properly especially in windy weather

Can you comment on its build quality? Also could you test actual run time and real world remote range? Another person asked about a dedication fishing drone. Since you said there is none, could you recommend the best low cost drone that could do the job. For my needs it would have to carry about a 6 once payload and trailing 30# fishing line about 500 yards. It would have to be a very reliable flyer. Camera quality could be minimal. Return to home feature would be useful. Thanks, I watch you vids regularly even though I don’t own a drone. I’m waiting for them to become a little more idiot proof.

Can you please explain this? What is a 3 cell and how would it improve speed?

Needs to be slow and quiet to not scare the fish too badly. I have fished since I could stand by the pond bank and hold a cane pole, about 60 years and this is an interesting concept. I can no longer fish like I did due to back and balance problems but I think I could find a use for this, if just for the fun factor. Glad to see you do this video and admit you didn't know what you were doing. Not many would but you did a good job of it even if you were out of your "comfort zone." Been a subscriber since I started flying drones a short time back and hope to get the first flight on my newest drone, a JJRC X6 Aircus partly due to your great review(s) on it. I started with a RISE Archon that has been through a tough time with me because I will take chances I shouldn't. I plan to hone my skills on the X6 and then unbox my Yuneec Typhoon H Plus that I purchased on 7-17-19. That thing scares me and I'm in awe of it but if I live long enough, I'll get to where I can fly it safely and have a ball. Thanks for all your videos.👍👍

Grumpy old man get you one of the many folding chairs so you can sit. Then you could fish. Problem is you would have to change your handle and lose the grumpy. You could change it to old man fishing with a smile.

Oh I do everything sitting in a chair and have two folders that live in my back seat of my SUV. Have since I screwed myself up in 1997. I walk a ways and sit somewhere. All my hobbies have to be ones that I can sit while doing. There is no hope for me getting better and I in no way want anyone to feel sorry for something i did in a moment of shear stupidity. I no longer fish for fear of falling in and that is the only reason. Dr has ordered me to never get into a boat, and every time I try walking on the water, I sink up to at least my ankles.😁😮

Grumpy Old Man RC sorry to hear that. We seem to have similar stories. New year’s I’ll turn 69. Caught my first fish (a little perch about 3”) by hand in a creek by the house when I was about 4 years old. Neighbor kid about 6 years old ( his name is Ray ) he fished with his Dad most weekends. The day after my first catch Ray and I got rods, reels, hooks, weights, and bobbers went to the creek and I became an addict. I have had many moments of stupidity that began when I was about 18 months old. It was at that time I decided I don’t like restrictions. The crib was restrictive so over the top I went. Few months later the chain link fence was restrictive ( you probably guessed) over the top. This is when I encountered the first of many consequences from my own stupidity. My pants got hung on the top of the fence and I hung upside down till the next door neighbor ( a man named Jim ) got me off the fence. Having been taught to be polite and respectful of my elders I said thank you Jim and he stood there in shock not knowing I could talk. Now the consequences are coming home to roost: left knee, right foot, both wrists, lower back, and all teeth are shot! Options: surgery and rehabilitation for the next 30 years. If the doctor says no boats then I guess I‘ll be looking to get pontoon implants... I’m going fishing!!
