10:51 "I almost want to be alone. But alone 的时候 I feel very alone" It's like you rather be alone than be with the wrong kind of friends/ friends that don't vibe with you. I feel that. relatable.

In my opinion, attempting something and falling short is not a failure, but rather a valuable learning experience. It's those who incessantly talk without taking action and refuse to try who truly fail.

Entrepreneurship is a lonely journey. Last year Oct 2022, i made a breakthrough by heading over to bangkok alone to open a restaurant (that can house about 200 pax). But it failed, and i am selling it next week as i am running out of $$$. My life turned upside down. I can't save my staffs and i can't give them a better life as i promised. i Failed. And the only person that i can really talk to about this disappointment was me, myself & I. Because no one around me would understand this uncomfortable process of trying to be an entrepreneur. Thus, it was really a very very lonely journey.

you need to find people with the same frequency in order to reduce that loneliness. More often than never, people would not understand you or truth, no one cares. You need to be strong internally, give yourself the validation you need, build on your confidence and restart. Everything is a lesson for the future, everything is going to be ok.

As an entrepreneur, when I heard what John said is super super relatable. Entrepreneur is really lonely, many a times when you look back, you actually miss the day where you just started up, everyone in the company have the common goals, although we don’t have much but we all are happy. But when business start to grow, many will feel that as a boss as a leader we start to change. We no longer the same, but at the same time many forgot that we got to be responsible to everyone in the company, certain action and decision is needed to be done. We unable to please everyone, we just need to do what is right for the company. Just want to say appreciate for this episode, suddenly feel that I’m not alone. Jia you to all the entrepreneur, is not easy but you had tried ur best.

Failure is part of life. Ups and downs. The path is never smooth. On surface one may feel ok, deep down is the guilt of failure that slowly eats up one life, the will to change and improve is constantly there. Is oneself to stand up and take it step at a time.

Always having thought on why am I sticking with my 9 - 5 job, though it pays me quite a decent amount but I've never satisfied and I am not happy.. what strikes me the most is mayiduo questioning about if in life you have nothing to loose, what is the thing that you cannot loose, my 1st thought is music and my ability to sing.. ohh wow... I guess I can now start to explore and try to achieve a more successful and meaningful life..

Have to learn to be contented with what you have,. This is when one will feel happy. Friends are not a matter of numbers. Not number of years of number of friends and invitations. Friends and family are those who stay by you when you are happy or sad. But at the end of the day, one must be contented in order to be happy. If you dont open yourself up, you will always feel not understood or repressed. Open up your heart and share with those closest to you. You will feel lighter. The support system will naturally fall into place. Jiayou and be happy!

What is the definition of successful? Let's be real, who would'nt want money but at the same time what do you want in life and what kind of lifestyle do you seek? Some people can be happy earning 3k a month, have good food once awhile and have all the time in the world to do whatever they want. In my opinion, at the end of the day you're living your life for yourself, don't let the society and people's judgment dictate how you should live. Happiness is the most important thing and it's irreplacable, If you're feeling happy everyday then that's successful IMO.

  • @YOLOfication

My advise to Ryan , my name is YOLO for a reason - You Only Live Once , once is enough if you are on the right track . you can have a thousand or millions of failure but if you endure it you will be successful, begin successful once is enough to cover millions of failures. Stay strong
