I think this is what she is pointing to on both sides. She was completely lucid, very pleasant, and said nothing that was confrontational or controversial. She just expressed herself, after quite frankly Julia went off on one. There are many extremists in the trans community on the left, and certainly extremes on the right. Some issues you have to draw boundaries on, but where you can meet in the middle, if we're aiming for a decent society, peaceful and prosperous society, we must.

Nobody is denying their reality or experience. Alcoholism is a terrible disease that is very often caused by people's trauma. It doesn't mean we should allow an alcoholic to drive and risk others safety so we don't hurt their feelings. It must be a very difficult experience to think you are the wrong gender but it doesn't mean your difficult experience should affect other people's lives negatively. A woman shouldn't have to see a penis in the changing rooms because it's attached to a man who's got problem with accepting who they truly are. Nobody has a right to force their trauma onto others! It's abuse.

I saw a man recently wearing a dress. I didnt know whether to laugh or cry. Its enough to see these people (not on a camera - not on a picture - but in real life) to know something is wrong.

I was a tomboy in the 70s played football and cricket wanted to join the army. Thankfully my mum spoke truth over me and said God made you a girl get on with it. No pandering I was angry at the time but so happy she loved me enough to be truthful. Most kids go through something weird. I’m happily married to a man and we have 4 children if that had of been me now I would have people telling me yes be a boy here drugs. It would have ruined my life. Protect children if adults want to dress the opposite sex then just get on with it stop confusing kids.

As much as he knows he's a man, I reckon the extreme side he's trying thinking of is when he's not accepted as a woman in woman spaces. It's not extreme. It's a boundary.

I was a too tall too skinny girl with ugly teeth and also prayed every night to look different. These feelings are not exclusive to trans. I’ve still got ugly teeth unfortunately but I don’t think the trans ‘community’ would be interested in my feelings but I’m expected to care about theirs .

Low self esteem in someone who has no practical skills or abilities to acquire the attention they desperately seek. Comedy requires the ability to be funny. Sports require the ability to be athletic. Dressing up, being loud and being a victim gets plenty of attention while requiring no skills or effort and is possible from anyone. So it's easy. Unfortunately the attention doesn't last long before people get bored and sick of it so the behaviour has to get more extreme to attract people's focus.

I am 'trans stature". You may think I am average height at 6 foot, but I feel that I am a 'little person' who was born in the wrong body and I am really only 4 foot 3. Now I demand that you must affirm my feelings and give me all the same disability assistance that any other little person is entitled to get.

This man is not helping. Excuses and more excuses! Nobody cares about him,we care about children. Nobody thinks he's a woman. This whole thing must stop. Not one will admit they were wrong. .

I wouldn't say ashamed as a gay man because for a long time many of us have seen and denounced the toxicity of the LGBT community and hence why a lot of us don't have anything to do with the LGBT community and instead mix with like minded individuals in multiple groups. A lot of us have been waiting for the rest of society to wake up as the community has needed a well deserved spanking for a long time as what used to be a movement for equal rights has become a struggle to remain relevant and feel special which no one is. Its the community who needs to learn how to mix with other groups as opposed to the current and narcissistic approach of it being all about them - their feelings are not the only feelings that matter and it's time they learnt it's about more than just them - which in this instance has come about due to the fundamental lack of honesty and care trans activists and their supporters have given to other groups which has led to vulnerable children being harmed.

I think this lad presented his view and himself very well. Good on you mate.I don't neccesserilly agree with the presenter.. you only have to read comments in social media to see some quite toxic comments on the "other side" its a mess but sensible folk like this fella seem to a good contribution to the discussion.

Why is so much furvour and attention being devoted to this so-called cause? Why can't we apply the same enwrgy to solving the homeless crisis, unemployment, housing crisis and cost of living? Someone on the street starving to death in the freezing cold is much more important of an issue than this Or, is that too sensible?

I respect this Individual. Calm cool collected Admits that there are Extremists on both sides, DOES NOT believe in children getting puberty blockers, feels like many on both sides are acting like school children. It’s actually refreshing to see that this individual is one that you can sit down with an have a rational discussion with. So many “Trans People” are talking about a “Genocide” happening in the Trans community, but they Refuse to acknowledge their part in the Genocide by admitting that there are Thousands of children who “De-Transition” but are irrevocably damaged by the puberty blockers they took OR the surgeries they had when they were 18 and in some cases younger, but now feel as though they were pushed into it all by their parents and or psychiatrists and doctors, because that is a Genocide too. But so few are even willing to admit that it happens.
