I agree Its Human tendency to love the peace. But in this case Hamas is the villian and Israel is the hero. Israel wants peace and only war can bring peace in this region. Peace needs sacrifice. Another Solution is Educating the Palestinians and people like you about the truth. But question is who will educate them? Devil lies in the details. Arabs never take responsibility that if they accepted multiple plans since 1937 the Palestinians would have their state. The Arabs never wanted to live next to a Jewish state. Remember 5-7 Arab countries declared war on Isrrael the day after their statehood as estb by the UN? The Arab countries told the Palestinians to feel from their homes since they were going to drive the Jews into the sea. This is the primary reason why Palestinians lost their homes. It is not stolen land. Jews have had a 3,700 year presence in Israel. What really bothers me is that the surrounding states have not helped the Palestinians for 75 years b.c. they would rather blame Israel ---as if it's Israel's sole responsibility. To this Saudi Prince: There is no Palestinian land since it has never been a country. Nothing rationalized an evil group-Hamas for chopping-off women's breasts, men's penises, nailing vaginas, burning babies in ovens, riddling bullets in babies , beheadings, etc.? The devastation in Gaza is tragic, but it is not equivalent. Israel is the only army that gives warning-21 days before they entered Gaza. Dropping millions of leaflets, internet, etc. The ARABS countries are COMPLICIT in this 76 yr conflict.

But the real story is...people who have lived there for generations are being hunted and hounded by foreigners (by mostly European settlers). It only became a state in 1948. We, in Ireland had our lands taken by conquest and were forbiden to vote, starved, sold into slavery and forced to migrate. I know that happened all over the world but it was wrong. Let me correct you sir: It was "NOT" Eastern-Europeans that brought down the USSR. It was actually the Afghans who did (The Mujahedeen to be exact). And because the Mujaheden wad made of ethnic Afghan Uzbeks, Tajiks, Turkmens and Pashtuns. They immediately called for all former Soviet States like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan to be indepdendent. And inspired by the Afghan, the citizens of those states came out to protest. And because the USSR was scared that the Afghan Mujahedeen would expand into their territories, and take over by force they. They agreed to their demands where Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan etc became Independent countries/states. And finally Eastern-Germany was the last region to fall. And its only because the Red Army/State didn't have enough manpower. And short after the USSR was disbanded by than president Mikhail Gorbachev. Then a deal was made with Boris Yeltsin who was the leader of the first democratic party in Russia. His party took over and Yeltsin became the president of the new Russia. That's when the USSR Flag was taken down, and a new "Russian" flag was raised.

Sadly no. The armed resistance only liberated parts of northeast, but could not cross the brahmaputra river. The only pan india resistance was civil disobedience Edit : a lot of people are wrongly assuming that I'm defending gandhi. I was just saying that the armed rebellion did not succeed and only the civil disobedience was pan india(whether it succeeded or not is a different story)

The whole reason Gandhi succeeded and the British left India was because the British had become almost bankrupt due WWII and simply did not have the clout left to administer India and other colonies.
