My suggestion wont be full comprehensive,but from my experience i will tell you do a project which include actual circuit design, great if its a analog project or mixed signal based, and try to design full stack frontend and backend .... But lastly your prof can suggest better idea , explain to him/her about this requirement.

Thank you.. For fresher yes gap without any reason is not considered good .so if you are fresher highlight the reason of you gap year in CV itself before they ask you the reason ....

Hi , I got an offer from one of the Good image VLSI company during my college time through the on campus placement. They extended the onboarding due to the recession and it's almost 6 months now from the offered DOJ . is that possible to revoke my offer letter with out any reason?. For your understanding they blocked my all other placement opportunity and blocked me for ensuring that i am going to join for them.

@@whyRD They are hiring me in the campus drive after the release of the offer letter they request to block my further placement drives through the placement cell because they want to ensure that i am going to join for their company . the DOJ in the first offer letter was aug 1.After that they extend my DOJ .

Dont start directly with verilog .. Spend first 10 day for programing basic if you never learned any language .. And then start with IIT kgp NPTEL course .
