I get stuck in gold every season, going for plat this season! Solo queue doesn’t help lol

Biggest tip is play in a full party. Rank is simple when you are in a party. When you solo expect to lose RP and be hard stuck.

Eh I feel like every time I'm in a group the team is too static. The upside is you don't lose RP to randoms being idiots, but the downside is you won't be playing with people who are better that you can learn from Playing ranked solo I often get paired with duos that are very good and will make risky plays that I wouldn't because I don't trust my teammates to follow up on my pushes. But since I know to follow up and stick with my teammates, I can eliminate that variable. In fact the one thing you absolutely shouldn't do is play as a duo. The amount of plat IV players who just got out of gold that do zero damage over the course of a 20 minute game is appalling. Playing solo eliminates that variable as well

@@1Shayz1 randoms can be bad too! Arent they solo cause they are bad and nobody wants to play rank with them? Last time i played solo with two randoms i knocked two enemies and third one knocked me from behind. And my both randoms lost 2vs1. Once you get to Diamond II i think there are more skilled randoms. I dont play apex this days anymore. Or sometimes randoms just ran off from the group without ping or they go to far looting and die

Always lose motivation to keep grinding around Diamond 1 & 2 with like 20 days left mostly because solo Q sucks. You’ll get a Plat and Gold player on your team going up against three stack preds. Unsure how to keep your sanity stable with odds like that most games.

same with diamond 3-4 but master would be possible but i just haven't felt the grind for the last two season, i even got way better in the last two seasons but its just no fun after getting into diamond

I just get to diamond 4 and stop grinding. Solo q is terrible. I will never ever get that 50 000 kill pathfinder on my team what I get is spongebob and Patrick

Trying for diamond, got stuck at plat 2 last split. Biggest problem for me and my buddy was having multiple -40 or -60 RP games in a row

Made it to Masters last split and Tim is 100% right. Avoid the edges of the map to avoid bad rotations and having a support legend on your team is a must 🏆

When i have a full team we usually have a support every match. But in the event of my being solo or just with one teammate we can usually make it out okay without the support. Mostly due to me playing crypto and being able bounce if things go sideways. Then to grab banners from up to 200m out.

Meanwhile i land with random loot goblins while I am fighting a full squad on my own! When Spectating them watching them struggle to climb a wall 😂

Your coaching tips have helped me alot but my problem is I always over peak or move out from cover. Doesn't help I'm always running New Castle 😂

I was gonna hit plat but it’s summer so i went outdoors to have some fun with baddies and friends and family

i was hard stuck platinum last season and just for the life of me could not get passed plat 4. i know a big issue of mine is i solo que a lot mainly because my friends aren’t around. everyone is working so time is limited. but when we do rank up together these are some of the problems we have. thanks for the insight!

As someone who has soloed to diamond multiple times, you absolutely have to play as a support legend if playing solo with the new banner crafting. It will save your ass many many times :)

With trying to avoid being in the outside of the map. I land in areas with a jump tower and or zip-lines so that I can loot without gambling weather or not I get any loot while also being able to get into a fight fast. NOTE: I look around for how many squads land with me/around me.

Some of us have to play on 180 ping due to our area. So we land far

i just push everything and it works 🤷

The issue is solo q, most of my brain dead teammates negative rotate into zone to take a fight and die. I craft them back and they can immediately do the same thing and then rage that they have no heals.

Tbh i just wanted to play ranked because of the color in plat i love that color

I get diamond every season but in the lower ranks mainly gold what i noticed is that there is no confidence They avoid fights, land far and if one dies they dont say kill the team they say run even though its an easy win . The worst thing i have seen so far is the SUPPORT LEGEND not SUPPORTING but insteading running and hiding leaving the team in 3v2

If you land middle you are exposed to all angles and can get pinched easily but edge you can free picks on people rotating

My teamates love chasing fights away from zone it pisses me off especially when i scan ring consoles every game

Idk what rank you are but any where below diamond i solo q and lead my team into all fights i get alot of players like you in my team who wanna play zone all the time but kp is far more important then placement in my opinion cuz if you cant kill how are you gonna keep ranking up once ratting doesnt work anymore and you need good placement mixed with kp

Im plat 3 rn. My thing is the consistency with which you can reproduce results. Playing zone with ring scans is more consistent positive rp. While dropping hot and chasing fights can lead to huge gains lets be real your losing rp more than gaining due to the guaranteed thirsty 3rd partties. Im not suggestibg ratting but taking fights along your way to zone

I usually get randoms that push bad situations and it’s an uphill battle. I consider myself a strategic player. I’m not great but I’m ok. Running into a fight as quick as possible is not the way to get better. Doing it with a strategy can make all the difference

Here’s one… Stop blaming your teammates. Sure they could be dogshit but also understand that those same people you watching play/stream can usually 1v3 that same team you died to. There’s always something you can do better, so focus on the things you control!

Take a 3v3 at a poi, when you leave that poi you have to secure the game winning spot in end zone pick a building in the middle of zone or the high ground in zone and fight anyone who challenges you for it 😊

Multi season pred top rank being #54 here. And I don’t entirely agree with this list (for your average player) 1) if you’re not a good fighting team do not fight on landing. You’re basically 50/50ing a max RP loss. 2) feel free to land on the edge of the map, the only difference is a long zone pull will just shorten your looting time. 3) As an IGL good macro rotations can land you a top 5 spot 4) as you go higher in the ranks playing well as a team is more important than individual skill. 5) game sense/awareness/ IQ > mechanics. 6) mid game fights is a very viable play so long as you have game sense of which ones to take and which ones to pass on. 7) consistency is king! It’s better to have 5 +20 games than 4 -60 & 1 +200 game Now obviously being arena and BR pred im fairly confident in winning most of my 3v3s so early/mid game im running teams down then around ring 3 im fighting for god spot. But that’s not generally recommended.

I have a question 😣 I haven’t played the game in over a year (seriously played) I started back up this season and I haven’t been able to win my 1V1 gun fights. I’ve been trying to use meta weapons but even those don’t work.. any tips on this seasons ranked 1v1s (I’m a plat diamond player)

4 things. 1: pick a fortified character, they usually have extra shields like gibby or newcastle 2: pick a good 1v1 character like ballistic,revenant, conduit, etc 3: lower or raise your sensitivity by just 1 4: raise or lower your deadzone I’m doing #2 plus meta weapons.

im doing this and guess who doesnt? My teammates.

Probably diamond..But still gold is a hardstuck area. also,the ranked system is too hard for solo players..

Shooting for masters, already D4 just don’t have a consistent teammates and nobody talks

Easy tip fellas, play on weekdays specifically Tuesday through Thursday. Don't play ranked on kings canyon. If you have a competent squad get kills early then play for zone. Last but not least if you can't get out of gold you suck so just have fun.

I hit masters the last 7 seasons solo q but it doesn't help when teammates die first 3 minutes in

Can't play ranked with randoms. It's almost impossible even in unranked too. Ppl leaving going solo and leaving even if respawn is right next to u.

I say stuff about support characters all the time and nobody wants to listen and then yells at me when something happens..I don't want to be lifeline all the time or support and I shouldn't have to be all the time. It gets very annoying fast.

Ok here me out my kd is 1.7 my avr damage is dang near 700 per game but my random team8s are completely holding me back

I would guarantee as a apex predator you'd still judge me heavily due to pride I don't use meta legends or guns unlike 99.999999% that do havoc,hemlock with rev, horizon. Thats really difficult. It kind of depends. In my opinion if you hear enemies fighting or if you know someone landed nearby, then yeah, i'd move off the spot take a fight and then go back to zone after getting those few early engagements.

Always hold that spot if you know it’s the god spot. Don’t go rush for kills. Let them come to you. It’ll make the fights easier and lot more rewarding as you’ll likely be a lot higher in placement by then. Now if you’re on all white shields maybe you’ll have to switch things up but I’ve found that to be pretty rare.

@@TimProVision getting into early fights will also help finding team energy. It sucks looting for a bit then looking for a fight and not knowing how your team performs and falling apart fighting against looted and warmed up teams.

​@@robboss4617yeah I must admit if you make end game and you have a great spot and plenty of resources, the KP does flow freely at the end. I'm definitely not a good player but I can surprise myself with 6 or 7 kills by the end of a match despite no early fights.

Pushing as a team. Dont push solo because you cracked someone.. push as a team after first knock

First tip is reliant on luck, so not that productive of a tip. Second tip is arguable wrong considering fighting at the beginning means more squads means more third parties.

Don't really matter to me, I've been diamond 3 since like season 2, seems like that's where I'm supposed to be, I roll Plat and gold players all day, too easy but get shit on by masters sooo.

No ranked goals anymore. Hit pred and masters every season I went for it but nobody to play with anymore and solo queuing just isn’t enjoyable with randoms and no mic’s. all the strong players pushing pred are squadded up and it’s hard to get to that echelon without a group you sync with. Ah well.

My rank goal is Master. My current rank is platinum. Anyone down to run it?

If you not good enough to win your 1s then you shouldnt be in that rank. Too many people in ranked are scraping there way to the next rank and making the game less fun for the players meant to be in that rank.
