How to look younger than your age for longer? We all want to age gracefully and keep our youthful looks for as long as possible. Thankfully, there are a couple of simple rules you can follow to make that happen!

    But loneliness is terrible. I am almost 33, never had a boyfriend (I actually have a friend that I really like and we go out sometimes, but we don't even hold hands and he doesn't seem to like me that way) and, yes, I do look younger than my age (a few days ago some stranger thought I'm in highschool), but I'm not sure this is because I've been lonely. This in fact gets me extremely depressed and quite often makes me not want to live anymore. I don't understand how people manage to be single and be so calm and happy about it, I really wish I knew how love feels like, but I have no idea how relationships start (even though I read tutorials and articles about this). I also read on how not to feel lonely when single, but event though I'm occupied a lot with work and learning and different hobbies I still get extremely depressed and hate my life. So from the perspective of a forever alone person... not finding love may not be such a good idea...

    @Govind Kumar what's so funny? You know, not all people are lucky in love. Also update: held my friend's hand while we were on the mountain, yay! One of the best days of my life. And also kissed him on the cheek (on my birthday). I think I'm on the right track although I still don't know if he is my boyfriend yet and I'm too ashamed to ask him...

    @Govind Kumar Thank you, brother. My dream life partner is this friend I'm talking about (his name is Dragos). My problem is that I'm an extremely shy person. I try to be friendly and help people but I just can't connect with them. I'm also extremely childish: have a room full of plushies, dolls and other toys, I always carry a plushie with me even at work, watch cartoons, read fairy tales (although I read serious books too), play with Lego etc. However, Dragos never laughed about this. He accepts me as I am. He even played with me from time to time (we played with lego, solved puzzles together, we also play ping-pong and other outside games/sports in the park). We also share lots of hobbies. We talk daily and go out together 1-2 times per week. He is my first and only friend. I love him dearly. I only wish I knew how to get closer to him. He never had romantic relationships either, he is just like me. But I'm grateful to have him close; even just as a friend. He is the kindest human being I ever met. I'll continue to read and watch tutorials about relationships though. Bright Side has lots of them. Learned some tips but I find it weird and difficult to apply them. Thank you for your wishes.     My grandmother is 90 yrs old, she’s still able to run, walk fast, and has a good memory. She has a several good habits: 1. Only drink warm water. 2. Jogging every morning 3. She likes to eat at home ( mostly vegetables), never eat any snacks or outside food. 4. Never be lazy in her life, so she learns new things and thinks fast.

    My mom talks about everyone behind their backs, and loves gossip. She’s starting to look mean/angry as she ages, as if there is a permanent scowl on her face. Want to stay looking young? Don’t gossip, be kind and have positive thoughts.

    My advice 1. Drink alot of water 2. Exercise or take a walk every day, do 6000 steps atleast everyday, 3. Eat Healthy 4. Bath atleast 3times a day and take care of your skin with natural ingredients like Aloe vera masks or scrubs. 5. Sleep atleast 8 to 10 hours a day. 6. Stay away from people with negative energy, don't let those bustards get you down. 7. Pray everyday and thank the Lord you wake up everyday.

    Don't cheat on your spouse or mate, that can be very stressful and it keeps you short tempered, impatient and scared you will get caught. Plus it's an unhappy and unhealthy life style.

    Thank you! Washing the face with cool water or using ice helps a lot to stay young. Keep some ice water in the fridge and use a bowl of water with ice to dip your face a few times. Use this at least few day a week.

    I can not agree this more because I almost have done the several things during these 6 years.Every time when I come back to my hometown to hang out with my friends or some relatives. They always think that I am just 18 years old . We are what we eat. And our habits will tell us for a long time. So friends. Just do it. Let's be younger and healthier together!!!!

    One thing that really helped me stop focusing on the things that frustrate me (a trait I picked up from my mom’s somewhat OCD side of the family) is to tap into the miracle substance inherited from my dad’s side of the family; fuckitol. It resides in all of us, and judicious use of it can keep you from obsessing about things you can’t control. When the world is closing in around me I just trained myself to stop thinking about negativity and often my two biggest tools aiding this effort are music and comedy; both help you relax.

    Do regular experience, eat more vegetables especially green vegetables, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, avoid excessive snacking (don’t eat processed foods just because you feel hungry, eat real food when the time is right.) don’t eat heavy meal after 6:00 pm.

    I also read in an Asian wellness book that dinner time should be your lightest meal. Makes sense because we are less active in the evening hours, so less caloric intake is needed.

    be positive about yourself and learn from the incidents and events that hurt you. Always look at the positive side of the story n try to differentiate whether you really have to worry about something. Try to figure out why the problems r sent to u. Whether u yourselves r the reasons to cause them or they are sent to u by God. Just remember every problem is like a riddle we either have to find the cause of it n handle it or learn from it to get out smoothly. This will keep huge stressors out of your lives. Drink as much water as possible in a day i.e. 3liter a day starting from early morning b4 breakfast. Hav more fruits n vegetables in the diet but do not go for dieting unless it is recommended n monitored by your physician. Those who r aged never believe it but have a reverse psychology n always say to your selves, I am strong enough to take care of myself n your brain will constantly heal your body. Love children n animals. The more you show love and affection to them the better you will feel and it will change your inner vibes. Jealousy n hostility is the number one killer n it degenerates body faster then you could think of. Jealousy never lets u sleep with peace, never makes you satisfied of others, will always make you feel that you are less then others. So bye bye to jealousy n hostility

    avoid frowning . sleep on your back not on your face to avoid sleep lines. avoid squinting. eat food that boost collagen. eat what is right. live simple. eliminate ALL negative attitude like anger, hatred, envy ect.

    Thanks to eating healthily, exercise, never having stressful work, no drinking, no smoking, no drugs, and genuinely being happy, I'm thirty eight in two months and still feel twenty eight. I'm a UK size 10 thanks to a vegetarian diet (with plenty of veganism thrown in), and I plan to stay this size for a long time.

    Autophagy is a fascinating natural phenomenon in our bodies. Can't believe I only found out about it recently, even though the scientist who researched it won a Nobel prize! Possibly too many industries and businesses, and the medical profession, would suffer if everyone knew about it, and ate to induce autophagy!

    Sunscreen every day, topical form of Vitamin A( retinol is easy to get and can get this active from Paula's Choice, The Ordinary. Or go for the more potent Tretinoin but that needs a prescription. Or you could go for derivatives such as Hydroxypinacolone retinoate or retinyl Palmitate for example). Sleeping the recommended 8 hours helps

    Great stuff, Bright Side. I'll take a few of them on-board! After spending a few months in Japan and travelling around different regions I noticed one significant aspect which keeps Japanese people look much younger for their age. That is, regularly visiting ONSEN, a Japanese hot spring bathing. We tried it a few times. Bathing in onsen has some of the best anti-aging properties and relieves stress!

    By being vegetarian person, eat less sugary food and control food in salt also slow down the anti aging even though you at 60s later. Avoid all process food like can food, packet food and fast food are good for dieting. Eat chia seed also bring benefit to body especially more to fiber then cabohidrat food. Don’t drink coffee but more to all type of tea that make your body more refreshing. So far so good coz I’m 50s now but people said I’m like 30s to 40s only. More important things walking at 6am in the morning everyday of your life at least for 45min for fresh breath. It’s fantastic, feel good and energetic. 😎😁👍
