    I'm almost 72, and I just bought a rebounder thinking it would be good for my Osteopenia. I've now seen some writings that says people with Osteopenia or Osteoporosis should not use a Rebounder. I'm upset that I may not be able to use it. Will it be harmful for me? Thank you in advance.

    I was 6ft6inch before I jumped on one of those mini trampolines. Smashed into the ceiling compressing spine and neck vertebrae. Took out a ceiling fan in the process. It was awesome right up to the disaster.

    I thought you didn't have to the rebound does open the lymphatic system while jumping

    That's true you get a great lymphatic flow just by rebounding, this just helps to get things moving more!

    Hi Vickie, If you're just starting to do rebounding, you might want to start with just 5 min or so and build up from there. I usually do about 10- 20 minutes. Listen to what your body is telling you and only do as much as feels appropriate for you on any given day.

    Does rebounding put pressure on the knee in two years post tibia fracture...no pain in knee at the moment

    You may want to check with your Dr. If they give the ok, you may want to try a very easy bounce - not even letting your feet leave the mat and see how you feel. Always listen to your body! Thanks !
