Hello, I'm Dale Andrews from Lake Charles, LA and just set out 5 of these I got from a vendor on Etsy. They are babies and only about 6-8" each. I'm watching KZread videos on the do's and don'ts of these crucial early growing months to make sure I'm doing it right. I hope I did right with using cactus/succulent potting mix with some added perlite for good measure. TIme will tell and I've got my fingers crossed. That's quite a nice specimen you have there! Happy gardening. 🌱

  • @GardeningUpbeat

    8 ай бұрын

We can do either in Spring or in Summer. But, it's better if we can do in Spring. It's like preparing our plants ready for flower in Summer. Having said that, if there is any urgent situation, of course we can prune or repot in Summer. Winter is the dormancy time and it's better not to do anything that time. Hope I have answered your query and thank you for watching from Florida.

We can definitely use Humic acid instead of VaMOZ -P but Castor Cake is basically nitrogen fertilizer and it won't work same like Horn Meal. Horn Meal provides the Phosphorus. Adenium is a slow grower and since we are adding sufficient Vermicompost to the potting soil mix, there is no need to apply Castor Cake at the time of repotting. You can apply later, let's say once in a gap of 30-40 days. Hope that helps, thank you!

There could be few reasons and those are - 1. Lack of water 2. Fungus attack and 3. Pest attack If it's because of lack of water, then leaves should look good within few days after proper watering. If nothing happens, please treat with fungicide (SAAF - Dose - bit less than 1/2 teaspoon in 1 liter water and spray once in 5-7 days) Thank you :-)
