Yes, very distracting and not in a good way. The neckline is so lovely but the hem and excessive sleeve length isn’t flattering.

I usually love the way you dress, but in the case of the top you’re wearing, I can’t say the same. The hemline is so distracting! It draws the eye immediately to the crotch. And then the shoulder line along with the extra long sleeves is just way too much. It’s so distracting that I didn’t even finish watching the video because I was too busy typing this comment. I’d say it should get one of your giant X’s on it. 😉 Regardless of my opinion, you always give such wonderful advice and ideas! Thank you for all you do 😊

@@7777bren I think it's the Khaite Maddy top. I wouldn't wear it personally but I admire its design. It dramatically improves visual perception of proportions on all body shapes. It shortens a long torso (because of the low neckline and the perceived high waistline) and elongates a short torso (because the narrow hem extends all the way to the crotch). Similarly, by adjusting the position of the sleeves, a girl can make her shoulder appear wider or narrower.

I like her videos and her ideas. The black top bothered me too as it looked like it was just hanging there. If this comment came from another popular designer, this comment will be considered constructive. Instead, because it is from ordinary people, anything less than a 100% praise is considered negative. So sad that we cannot express thoughts that run against the grain.

I recently changed my hair color from light blonde to a dark brown with a few blonde highlights. Does this mean that my color palette will change? If so, what colors do brunettes look the best in? Hi Janet! Welcome to the channel 🤗as for the color palette it doesn’t change because of changing your hair color, because your color type remains the same. You may notice that slightly deeper and brighter hues work better with your new hair color but normally they’re already included in your personal color palette. The most important criteria is your skin tone, then goes hair color and eye color so the color palette is built around these features not only hair color.
