Good work mate! Awesome video quality 👌
Thank you for an informative video, I won’t waste my money on one of these items now.
Dude thank so much for this video, I have like 6 card and now I know just the wallet will just work.
I appreciate your research.
aluminum foil tape in cash slot of wallet works great and is great for a lot of things around the home instead of duct tape you can get it at home centers and auto parts stores
thank you for the video very helpful
The problem I have is the opposite. I want the card to be read and that involves stopping card clash. I have 2 cards in a single double sided lanyard card holder. 1 card is a building access card, the other is a card that carries my work licensing information. The building access reader doesn't seem to care much about the other card being there but the works licence reader just throws a wobbler. I believe the building access card just shouts louder when asked to provide the data. So I'm considering getting some of these sleeves, cutting them and sliding a card size piece behind each card to stop the reader from reading through to the rear card when the front card is presented to the reader.
The problem with the pouches is that as they are relatively thin plastic and generally crushed in a wallet and warmed by your derriere, you find that it actually imprints the actual numbers on to the envelope. I will not share publically mine but indeed, it is a problem which means I have to destroy the envelopes every now and again.

I've been interested in this ever since I noticed someone passing unusually close to me at a shopping center. I now place my cards in a metal case that I purchased to safeguard my car key fob.
Hey, this card clash doesn't always work, like with mifare cards even my phone will read them stacked, although tbf, it depends which cards you stack together but for the most part it seems to not have an issue with card clash even three stacked together it will read the top card easily with just one tap/swipe. Seeing the comments and the issues with rfid sleeves/wallets makes me think that maybe this card might help or does it just rely on card clash too? If so should i just buy aluminium Foil and be done with it, It seems like these are the two options I have while gettting to keep my old wallet?
Hey, you only tested it against the proxmark3, which indeed has problems with stacked cards. I noticed that myselfe already. Maybe enterprise card readers like they use in stores have a better collision detection mechanism allowing them to read stacked cards more successfull. Maybe even a stronger antenna like in the Tastic RFID Thief (long range RFID reader) would get better results. I hoped more for a "real world" test with these things instead of the proxmark. Maybe for the next video?

Thank you for this comment, I'm just in the process of arranging to get access to a commercial credit card reader and I will record a new video Monday next week just replaying the detection part of the video to see whether it's any different with a commercial credit card reader as to a proxmark

@@QuentynTaylor Hi is there an update?
Does dorky heavy duty foil work. 2 wraps for the win?
The card companies do a pretty good job at catching suspicious activity but you can't be too safe. as a bit of a hacker and tinkerer myself I don't see any reason to make it easy for them lol The real reason I need a sleeve is that my wallet wrecks my cards... due to friction I suppose.

my wallet tends to split the cards in half which is annoying

More clickbait garbage arguing pocket scanning is rare and will probably always be rare, but can happen and does, especially as technology gets cheaper and more portable. I could understand the argument if just adding RFID to a wallet allowed you to charge $50 more but ut does not add anything to price so no downside for peace of mind. Unless you want to clickbait on KZread.
