Yea and that all of them were at the same spot almost at the same time :D
I'm impressed how you met so many talented climbers in the same area at the same time ... It looks like the place to be !
Related to what Chiara was saying about falling on slabs, my friend pointed out to me that one of the reasons it's probably scarier to fall on slabs is because on overhanging routes, you really feel like you're gonna fall when your fingers give out, but on slabs it can just be a foot slip. So on slabs, you are less aware of when the fall might actually happen and it will feel less controlled.
Stefanos Ghilsolfi: skips a quickdraw me, who is terrified of falling more than two metres: nono we don't do that here

Wow! Sweet video! Sean bailey and Miho are a couple of my favorites to watch in comps. Don't know if I've ever seen Miho interviewed in the wild.
Great video!! I have never seen pro climbers talk about this before…they ARE human, after all 😁 Dave Graham in particular articulated his experience very well 👍
Great video Ben! So cool seeing the pros talk about something you don't normally hear them discuss.
I am 13 years old and you have been one of my biggest inspirations! Love what you do!
Same would be cool with pro climbers knowledge of belaying. If they know their shit or not. :D

I found the difference in catch quality is huge between pros and your typical instructor or keyboard warrior. It's like falling into a blanket, incredible for the confidence.
Fall training is so important! It's during that time also that you and your belayer are building confidence, trust, and experience. Without fall training I don't believe we can climb out our true limit.
Casually chatting with the Olympic silver medalist, no big deal :D

Also with Stefano Ghisolfi while he was projecting Bibliography o.o
Such a good video! The way you got all these amazing climbers to open up, the editing & cuts between interview and climbs, the scenery, the music - I mean it’s so intimidating to reflect on your fears sometimes but this video was like a friend calming you down. Keep it up ☺️
Being brave is about feeling fear, realizing the danger and work to solve the issue at hand anyway.
I've heard this beutiful quote from another "fear of falling" YT doc wich was " Once you've managed to control your fear, you don't fall anymore, you flight !! " Thanks, realy cool video !!
One of your best videos for sure. It was so interesting to learn from top climbers how they manage their feelings. Indeed it was as good to see as it must have been to make ! Great job !
Absolutely incredible content! Thank you!
I love your videos! I binge watched the Fear Of Falling serie, so good! Thank you =)
Very good content, nice to see how all the pros are approachable (but I knew that already), cool to see Miho in the natural environment! Thanks 🙏
Grande Stefano. Sei il ns orgoglio!🔝🦾👏Great video, tnx buddy🔝🍻
Awesome Video! Great insights and really well produced
Thank you for this inspiring video, Ben! It's really good to know, that the fear is totally normal and most of the climbers have it. For me it's always hard, because the fear is always coming back. There are weeks without it and then it's back and I am not able to to mini falls. It mostly took me a lot of time to fight the fear down again. So thank you for your videos which always inspire me and keep me fighting.
this is amazing! thank you so much for this content!
So excited for this one!
Thanks again for your work ! :)
Waaaaw what a video, really great content and everything!! inspirational!! Keep up the great work!
It’s so nice to see the competition climbers here especially Miho ❤️
Amazing !! I appreciate your efforts and hard work
Such a good video! Thanks for creating such helpful and quality content.

Dave Graham has always been my hero. So reassuring to hear him say that.
nice nice nice! good to see the sends in the screen!!
This video is absolutely amazing, well done! I've always wanted to go to Ceuse but 20m whippers.........
Ben, I enjoy your channel, videos and the amazing climbs and climbers you share with us. I particularly was interested in how many of the people skip and don't skip quickdraws. Wishing you many more successful productions and projects. From Michigan, USA- have a great day. Robert
Dave Graham and A. Rohr, the best interviews.
Che stileeee Stefano!! Dajee duro
Reeeeally nice video!! great sound record when climbing by the way
Thx for the video. It's good to know that the pros are afraid also. But it's quite interesting that the pros are all at the same spot. Nice video.
Thank you so much! this is gold :)
Another great , great video. Cheers.
Awesome, thanks for making this vid
Super interesting insights, thank you for the effort and I hope you were sending? What a wonderful place!
Rad video, thanks for uploading it
Just a note that "Tokyo" is misspelled as "Yokyo" on Miho Nonaka's data card

Hahaha :D I guess Yokyo it is :D
Really cool video. Was actually hoping for belayer master class ep8, but what I got was even better. Let's see if I can go climbing long routes soon. Till then, boulder it is.
you have high standards in all your videos, but this is one of the best so far (as you show that everybody has fears).
Awesome video, thanks a lot
Supercool man! Good job!!!
Underrated channel
thank you! quality content.
I am impressed that Miho's name is written Japanese style in the video (last name first), and I'm super impressed with her American seeming accent.
Tremendously helpful video! This is one of the best climbing related channels out there. (Besides HowNot2…. 😌)
Thank you for this video.
Wow awesome video. And soooo fun to watch. Five star content 🚀
This is the best rock climbing video on youtube.
What an excellent video! Thank you for creating such quality content! Good to see that elite climbers are also made of the same stuff as we are. 😁

Great video 👍
Great video!
I just started a 3 month climbing course a couple weeks ago and luckily my instructor already had us do falling exercises in the gym in the third session. Since then I feel much more at ease climbing!

Sooooooooooooooo good video, as always
Thanks for your sharing
Miho ❤️ great video
Great video !!!!!!
Very very nice video!
Got to second your comment @23:41 . Everyone is so chill and kind.
This is my comfort video.
Very interesting!!!
Great videos with many, many strong climbers giving their opinions. Interesting how helmets come up as more of an idea, but clearly not something pros are focused on using. I wonder how we will look back on this in 20 years.
Congratulations on 100k subscribers

Good to hear that they are still human.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 frickin heartwarming
Im terrified of heights and have never climbed anything before (other than trees obviously) randomly found your channel and love watching it. Maybe I’ll try climbing someday….. maybe idk lol
awesome video
Stefano Ghisolfi 😍 a beast!
17:20 ich liebe das FAAAACK I HASSE MI hahah fühlt man hart
cool video :D would be cool if you made the same video with intermediate climbers like from the easy grades 😀 from 6 to 8
Yeah, amazing humans!!
Really good video. Can you do a video on injury management amongst pro climbers?
it's good to know that pro climbers also can bleed. very inspirational video. thanks
Good stuff
It's good to know that also "9a martians" are human... 🙏🏻🌞
Very very nice
Very cool episode, it was interesting to hear the diversity of attitudes towards failing among such elite climbers
Sem capacete, very good😘
I hope you post a video on how you shoot the videos from the side of the cliffs. I'm a Photog, too old to climb but enjoy rappelling
nice. thx.
good one
Important is where the fall occurs. Dynamic belaying lower in a route can result in the climber landing on the ground and getting injured in the process. Thus avoid slack lower down.
Great video! Did you happen to just run into them at Ceuse?
Love how they are talking about run out falling when the footage shows they are falling like two feet above bolt 😂
Nice with only few hours of premiere time to wait!

YOU INVOLVED MIHO NONAKA OK I LOVE YOU THANK YOUUU
I am very scared of heights, which during the day makes me more vulnerable to fear of falling as well. It is amazing to me how calm I am able to be when climbing at night, when I can not easily tell how high I am. I wonder how many other people allow other fears and anxieties to intrude on their climbing and add to the very natural fear of falling.
Awesome video! Can you also make review on Mastermind book? 🔥
I feel v related to dave g. He is obviously a thinker and understands problems very well and has a very aristotelic approach to the issue, moreover he is able to elaborate and transfer his ideas very tify
Great video. About Patrick Edlinger and the runouts:"They wanted to put up lots of routes, and thus they had to ration their bolts. "

that and probably the size of the balls and egos from old climbers were next lvl :D

Well.. i’m an old skool climber and know the history of Ceüse a bit… Patrick Edlinger bolted a lot of routes from the top, driving around and then lowering down. He also tried the routes toprope before sending, which was frowned upon by some. He wanted to be sure that the crux was freeclimbed , and not pulled on a quickdraw, so if you follow the bolts while standing on the ground you could easily spot where the crux was: the point where all of a sudden bolts were even further apart. When other climbers added more routes, the style was kept the same, and now Ceüse is famous for it :-)
