@Robd1 You proven my point. I debate and argued with Bruce Lee naysayers, try to prove them wrong, Bruce did get into some but the one that was an official challenge aside from Wong Jack Man, was Youchi Nakachi, Japanese black belt in judo, karate, and Japanese jujitsu was knocked out by Bruce in seconds. This according to Jesse Glover. And there was the testimony of Abdul-Jabbar, Ted Wong, Chad Johnson saw Bruce dominate Joe Lewis in a sparring match, because this time Bruce was really pissed at Joe for bullying Chad Johnson.

His 6 birthday party theme was a chucky/pennywise party, And the the toys he sleeps with is a pennywise and chucky doll. He has chucky and pennywise posters and clothing. He loves horror movies, so an action movie is pretty tame for him. Kids these days are too wrapped up in cotton wool and overly protected from parents of the fun things kids should get to enjoy. He knows what's real and what isn't so unlike some of his friends the same age that are going to grow up scared of there own shadow.

Matthias Hues is also a Guy who didn't got the recognition he deserve. He was Always great in his "Bad Guy" roles and got that Charisma, so you hate his Charakters. It was his luck that Van Damme turn down the Role in "No Retreat, no Surrender 2". The Same luck Loren Avedon had with the same Film. Of course his Huge and threatening appearence helped him. I Loved his Appearences in "Kickboxer 2", "Fist Of Iron" and "Death Match". I believe his biggest success was "Dark Angel" with Dolph Lundgren. I agree with Don's take on the weird/'off' scene in 'Black-Belt' but my guess is that the scene could have been largely lost to the younger audience, as they generally, would not have fully understood what the misguided director was going for. The older audience would have understood though, and of course it was a scene that really wasn't needed at all. I also agree that 'explicit' scenes in Martial Arts movies are just not needed.

Indeed, Don is a very good storyteller and very generous in anecdotes. My favorites movies from him are Bloodfist 2, the concept of kumite goes to a higher level, and Black Belt, relesead in France as...:"Kickboxer cop". I had especially liked that movie for various reasons such as Matthias Hues, who is amazing to the screen, the fights and, especially, the touch mature of that story... It's specially that Don - I absolutely respect his opinion - dislike. Maybe, I am not sure but it's possible, because I am european and that element of that story pleased to me. The caracter seemed to me more realistic, plausible. So, I reminded more this story than others... However, Don is really fair to speak about survey. I had the impression, somewhere, Don was playing the same kind of white knight from movies to movies, a little bit such as Chuck Norris or Jackie Chan... Many thanks to you, Don, and Viking Samourai for this agora.

Man of some of the reviews of blackbelt on imdb are hilarious. "watched this film for 45 minutes and counted 9 mullets. That's a mullet every 5 minutes. Seriously though, this film is living proof that formula works" "Look Don The Dragon Wilson may be a great legitimate fighter but he is terrible on screen in this movie. The movements are slow and the choreography boring and ponderous. he also makes Chuck Norris look like Laurence Olivier in that he has ZERO acting ability and almost no charisma"

So is Don against sex and nudity scenes in movies? Didn't he do sex scenes in movies and have naked girls? Does he now regret doing those?

Blackbelt!!! I remember watching that movie when it premiered on HBO Thursday night action back in like 93' or so! I was about 11 years old. I thought even at that age the scene was weird and uncomfortable, but the killer is a sexually driven murderer, so I guess it fit his motive? It's a strange mix of sexually defiant serial killer with action film.

I actually liked that movie. But I only saw it a few years ago. Not as a kid. It was different for a don Wilson movie. It reminded me of those Chuck Norris movies like “hero and the Terror” and “silent rage.” Where Chuck is fighting a big scary guy. I actually disagree with don Wilson here. I think the killers backstory added depth. That movie isn’t for kids. A movie about a serial killer. Come on. Look at blood fist. Incredibly violent.

I like Black Belt, because of the story. You never had movies during that time, whether they were action or not, that a character backstory of being molested by their mother...it just never happened. It was always the father or a male figure that was the molester. So, that scene had to be shown in order to really get the feel for what was going on. Now, it would be a totally different thig if the scene played out to what it could have been with there being actual sexual activity. And in that case, that would make sense why the sexual activity wasn't shown because the audience could let their mind go to think about what was going to happen. An example is the movie drama Precious that came out in 2009. It was about an African American teenager who lived with her mother who was also molesting her. There were scenes in the movie where the molesting was happening. You didn't see fully the actual molestations, but in those scenes you would either hear what was going on or you could see her mother's (played by the comedienne Mo'Nique) reactions. Would anyone get the emotion of the molestation if it wasn't shown? No. There would be no impact, no way to empathize with the character being molested. And because Precious is a non-action movie, there is that time to go through exposition to explain the way the molestation happened and the times it did happened. In action movies,, especially B action movies, does the audience really want to see minutes of dialogue about why someone is doing something? Don used the wrong movie as an explain of his reasoning why the scene should not have been filmed. A shark is not a human being. In Jaw, would the audience really care why the shark attacked people as much as why Matthias' character kills women? There is a psychology to animals too, but it is in a lot of ways much simpler than human psychology. While I love martial arts movies for the action, I also look at the story as well. The Matrix Trilogy. I love the movies not just for the fight scenes, but also the philosophical undertones, the science/science fiction, the psychology of both the humans and the machines.
