Probably the point, the Foundation wouldn’t just leak their and any anomaly’s existence, so this is probably realistically what they would do in an actual containment breach.

I think the Foundation keeps as much secret as possible, so giving a ton of details on themselves or any anomalies that have breached containment like other eas scenarios do is out of character for them. Realistically they’d keep info to the bare minumum: keep your lights on, don’t look outside.
