‘Do Not Speak’: Kidnapper Bradley Yohn Interrupts Judge When He Sentences Him to 130 Years in Prison

Ойын-сауық

A judge sentenced Illinois man Bradley Yohn to 130 years in prison for carjacking, kidnapping, and sexually assaulting a 77-year-old woman during a home invasion in November 2021. Yohn represented himself during the trial - and a jury swiftly convicted him of the charges. While the judge was issuing his sentence, Yohn interrupted the judge several times making comments about “evidence” in the case. “Do not speak, Mr. Yohn,” the judge repeated multiple times.

Europe seems to get along just fine incarcerating a fraction per capita compared with the US; doing so with humanity, but there's a demographic variable or two here they don't deal with. With 4% of the world's population and 25% of its prisoners and still featuring a higher crime rate than other developed nations, something is terribly wrong in America. We need to address the cultural and other systemic issues instead of locking even more people up. I understand that some folk need to be kept off the streets, but a prison nation isn't a palatable solution.

I hope his every day of prison is filled with fear and pain. He is one of the most disgusting and cowardice examples of a human being that I’ve ever seen. The way he questioned the victims husband and daughters during trial should never have been allowed. He got off on adding to their pain. He snuck items from court into prison, including his disgusting focus on the photos of the victims genitals and the pain he caused her. True justice would be to hand him over to the victims family members. I’m sure the prosecuting attorney would also love to get his hands on this piece of crap. Rot in prison you coward!

@15:52 did they actually let him get away with calling a member of the courtroom staff the c-word? That should have gotten him ejected from the courtroom and a contempt charge right there! They should never have to put up with anyone disrespecting them on the job.

He should have gotten ejected from the courtroom, but a contempt charge wouldn't do any good. he couldn't get a bigger sentence he's going to be in prison for 137 years!
